I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I've been wondering this for quite some time. I remember reading online the predictions of St. Malachy, regarding popes. I didn't believe it until I read that the newly elected pope would be "The Glory of the Olive", which I think signifies the Benedictine Order. The new pope called himself Benedict and I was creeped out.

My question: Regardless of whether or not the Malachy prophecies are accurate or not, do you think the church knows this kind of stuff and sort of helps it along? Like everything that happens as it's predicted...the church knows it's supposed to happen and therefore MAKES it happen. Like they want the end to come just as it's supposed to and quickly? I don't even know if that makes any sense. I'm not even sure if it would be considered a conspiracy but just wondering what everybvody else thought.
