My Dad has witnessed footsteps, spirits, and strange things in his house since my mom passed in July 2003. He has lived there since 1978 and never had any situations like this before. Dad said he never believed in this until now. He's sharp as a tack, so nothing's imagined here. If it's my Mom, how can we know for sure and communicate?

No, I don't believe in spirits or mediums. I would suggest that you have your dad get a checkup. His loneliness and grief may be making his mind play tricks on him.

since my dad died last year , mum has had so many little messages from him .... some have brought amazing validation ( especially in dreams )
but yes I am a Spiritualist medium
but you have to look out for , when these things do happen ... our imagination also comes into play because we are looking for more and more signs
but I dont doubt mum is with you guys and loving and supporting you even now xx

it is your mother telling you she is happy and visits, this is the only way she can communicate with you. let her know you hear her and talk to her as if she was still there in the flesh because she is still there but in spirit. next time you hear these noises start talking to let her know that you know its her visiting and that you love & miss her. I promise she will hear you.
