Obviously this is a counteract to what boy wrote. DUH.
But my point is I dont need to prove to you that God exists. I have seen people who have been healed by God, I have felt Gods holy spirit heal me, I know God exists and I don't need to prove anything to you. So if you are so clever than prove to me God isn't real, and than maybe we can discuss it properly, but until than how about a little bit of respect for my beliefs, yes?

(By the way lady morgana, he created me so i could tell you that jesus loves you =)

I thank God all the time that we still have people in the world who are willing to stand up for Him. God bless you!

nick p/meister/tattie_herbert/Lady Morgana/printninja/Karrick, The bottom line is no one can prove God does or does NOT exist., so why lower yourself to name-calling? That sure isn’t proof of anything, except your contempt for God and that you don’t have any proof. Just because you don't believe, doesn't mean He's not there.

1 Corinthians 2:14 -- The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I am going to get a million thumbs down for this but I don't care. It seriously breaks my heart to see all the ignorance on this site. I feel for all the people who can openly blaspheme the Almighty. I feel for all the people who don't care.

How can you not believe God exists with all the wonders that are around us? The development of an egg into a human inside the mothers womb, the way everything on our bodies works the way it does, the beauty of the world around us and how every living thing works and strives for life. Why can people think that this came from a Big Bang? Someone had to create it and there is only one Creator and that is the Lord God!

I look at my kids and am reminded of Him on a daily basis. I look at the trees, the rain, flowers, animals, etc, and am reminded on a daily basis. God is amazing and worthy to be praised!

Give me the thumbs down if you must and I know that 90% of you must. That is okay with me. You can't nor wont change my opinion of God by your comments or your thumbs down.

Praise be to God! Amen my friend for challenging the people!

Blessings to you!

No, I don't care to prove you wrong, as you have not defined God for me. You do realize that everyone, even each person within one religion, views God differently, yes? It's just a word until you define it.

But let's just assume we're talking about a supernatural/spiritual being, and nothing more. If that's the only characteristic you give it, I can't prove you wrong, nor is that my desire. I'm agnostic. But when you start setting up parameters like omnipotent, omniscient, benevolent, etc, your deity can be analyzed. There are plenty of effective arguments against various Gods/gods, but, as you have not described yours, we can't really talk about it.

You say you have had experiences with this deity of yours. I will not dispute that. But please recognize that your personal experiences are just that: personal. You cannot prove to us that they are legitimate, nor can you prove to us that you are not lying. I will not fight you over experiences I have not had.

However, I will say that your experiences do not necessarily prove your God. Perhaps they may prove something spiritual, perhaps they prove a general God-concept, but the fact that people have these experiences in many different religions seems to indicate that God is ABOVE religion, if it exists... though that is just my opinion.

You have seen people who've been healed by god? Exactly how can you PROVE god did the healing? How do you know it wasn't luck, or their own willpower?

All you've proven with this question is that you are mercifully free from the ravages of intelligence.

EDIT:
Apparently my "comment" meant enough to illicit a personal response from you. You didn't feel compelled to address anyone else except for Lady Morgana, so now I feel very special!

FYI - When you debate using faith based thinking, you can always be contradicted by someone else who uses faith based thinking. Example: you can say you feel god's healing power, and I can say I feel nature's healing power. I can't prove you wrong, and you can't prove me wrong because both statements are asinine.

Proof and faith are mutually exclusive concepts, so don't expect people to credit you with intelligence when you ask them to disprove something you have faith in.

Your assertion that scientific proof or evidence is "obviously fake" is absurd. Now to business: Noted Catholic theologian correctly concluded [ref. 1] that neither the existence nor non-existence of god can be proved on the basis of logic or evidence. (Not surprisingly, Kung chose the affirmative, explicitly acknowledging that it was a choice.) There is no evidence to support any theory of the existence of any sort of god, but there is a fair amount that no such thing exists [ref. 2]. And there is indisputable evidence that belief in god has been a major cause of misery [ref. 3].

Prove that God is real.

Personally i don't think God is real.

He didn't create the earth, it formed over millions of years from bits of rock floating in space.

Plants then evolved, then animals, then to humans.

If he did create it, why create all the other planets aswell and not have any living things on them?

and why doesnt "Jesus" come back down to earth and tell everyone that doesnt belive, that he is real.

First, you have to tell me WHICH GOD you want me to prove doesn't exist. For the sake of argument, we'll assume the Christian god.

Christians claim their god is perfect. A perfect being has no wants or needs. He would exist in a perfect state. He would have no reason to create anything, as he is perfect. He would not need to create people to worship him, or even want to create people to worship him, as he is already perfect and has no reason to do so.

We exist. Therefore a perfect god cannot exist. Therefore, your god does not exist.

Another clown who can't understand that the burden of proof is on the one making the claim. Sorry, preacher man, you are the one with the proving to do.

While you are at it, prove that Huitzilopochtli isn't real.

ADDENDA

"ha, the problem is, they can't"

Ha! The beauty is, we don't have to.

Bravo, Lady Morgana! Bravo!

Here a hint, refuting a disproof does not prove something is real. You need to produce an unbreakable affirmative argument, and there is none which can be put forward.

Well, I happen to believe in G-d.

However in a debate both sides have to bring proof. You can't take one opinion as the assumption and then demand proof from the other person unless logic dictates that you must do that and then you must at least attempt to show why that is.

Please show some proof for what you believe.
