Obviously the transcribers of gods word weren't infallible to grammatical errors so why would one assume that these words are in fact the 'word of God'? All thoughts welcome. Namaste

Koran, Torah, Harry Potter, Illiad, Odyssey, or any number of books since the advent of written language?
Come on people do you not have any better argument than a book proving itself? Logic loops do not work.

Why is it so difficult for the majority of the human race to accept the fact that science has proven that we were all created from living organisms and have evolved into what we are today over so many years. Just like the Galapagos Islands. Evolution Proved. Though so many are still obsessed with and refuse to let go of the stories and fairytale of Gods and other fictional characters??

told to let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how to answer people's questions. While this verse may be for interacting with the unsaved, I think we should take note of it among ourselves as well.

Back in Jesus-times, miracles happened all the time. Raising the dead, healing the blind, parting seas, turning water to wine...

Why don't we have these today. And please dont' say something corny like giving birth is a miracle....

I've read a lot of questions saying is this a sin or is that a sin. Why do you care so much if it is a sin? Use your common sense, Don't live on religion rules they change their minds about those rules as if they were the ones that created them. If you're religious read your sacred book and follow those rules.
Try living your life discerning good from bad for yourself

Let's say i would get baptised by a Methodist pastor, does that mean i have to agree with the methodist church or is baptism rather a thing that Christians do in the old fashioned - John the baptist "style" to get cleansed off their sins without expressing any specific ideas?

If you have Microsoft Word, I strongly urge (if you haven't) you to try this: Type NYC and apply the Wingdings font to the word. Is it supposed to remind us that New York city has the largest concentration of Jews outside Israel?

i have an issue with Church buildings....i just started thinking about this a few days ago. it is hard for me to understand why we, as Christians, believe that God created everything on this earth. yet we choose to destroy part of His creation in order to put up a building to worship Him. and, why do we worship in a man made building? how is this building supposed to bring us closer to God when His very own creations in nature are right outside the door? isn't being outside in His beautiful creation the closest we can get to Him? i am a Christian and plan on continuing to be one, but doesn't my thinking have some logic?

I was so inspired by watching Tammy Faye's faith stay stronger than the cancer that is literally eating her flesh, yet it cannot kill her spirit and soul..

The Doctors are amazed she still is alive, do you think her faith is keeping her alive?

I think she has to tell GOD she is finally ready...
What did you think of the interview if you watched it?

Hypethetical Question - Could really happen though.

We wake the day after the elections and our new President's first order is that all Bibles need to be turned in and destroyed. If you are caught in posession of a Bible the penalty will be death. What will you do?

1) Disobey the mandate, keep your Bible, and risk death.
2)Obey the Authorities, turn in your Bible. ( your relationship isn't with a book anyway's it's with the Author).
3) Do something else.

Please let me know what you would do. Thanks

i have just one more question for those of you on here who decide on bible over evolution... you see, i have a new theory, and i want to run it by you guys-- since god created adam and eve and we've always been exactly like this-- humans-- and haven't changed one bit over the years, god placed bones and fossils that prove the evolutionary theory in the ground just to keep the world's scientists busy... right?

thank you for you feedback, i'm just making sure this is right...
