Many do not read the Bible or just parts they know they will like. Or what they are told or what a movie has put in it.
Few want to stick to the facts in the Bible. Many people also use the King James Bible because they can take all the words that don't mean today what they meant then to mean what they want them to. Like "gay" today means homosexual, 50 years ago it meant happy/cheerful; but back in KJ time gay meant what "fine" dose today, like fine flour, fine fabric.
Over 1500 words are meaning wrong today, time how ever many times each is used.
Use modern Bibles.
