told to let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how to answer people's questions. While this verse may be for interacting with the unsaved, I think we should take note of it among ourselves as well.

The world is getting meaner.
The world says christians are suppose to be "tolerant",rude,sarcastic ("funny"),and not take anything seriously.Many religious and christians follow the advce of the world, not Jesus and the bible.

It was Jesus who conjured the image of a man being stripped down to his undershorts in court, then giving those up too.

In other words, the Son of God wasn't above a sense of humor, so why should we think we are?

Now I agree we shouldn't be meanspirited, but I think we Xians need to be able to poke a little fun at the world around us (an at ourselves too)

Paul also said I will be all things to all people that some may be saved. If a little sarcasm breaks through their armor, I'll take any consequence that comes to me.

Sarcasm, if not mean spirited can be very humorous. There's nothing wrong with humor. It makes life alot more fun.
