Yes there are religious' who quote parrot fashion' long drawn out Bible answers, but compare answers from atheist' who insult with venom' and constantly ridicule the religious, with every opportunity, Now this will get rude remarks.

Heaven, would you think that the world is unfair and so is heaven? Would you demand for God to send him to hell where you thought he belonged? Would you question God's decision? Don't give me any fairy tail sugarcoated bull answers like "oooh, I would be too thrilled to be in heaven to wonder about that."

From the NWT:

However, he did not let him, but said to him: “Go home to your relatives, and report to them all the things JEHOVAH has done for you and the mercy he had on you.” And he went away and started to proclaim in the De·cap´o·lis all the things JESUS did for him, and all the people began to wonder.

You guys told me that Jehovah is only in places where the OT is being quoted. This is NOT a quote from the OT. Why is Jehovah put in here? It only confirms who Jesus is.....

and before you try to tell me that Jehovah had the mercy thru Jesus... allow me to remind you that Jesus has FULL power on heaven and earth...

What do you think?

... other than manifesting Himself in flesh, as Jesus? Why not send Himself as an Angel to redeem us of our sins?

(I have an answer, but I want to solicit opinions from y'all - Thanks)

"Your God is one God: and they who believe not in a future life, have hearts given to denial, and are men of pride:

Beyond a doubt God knoweth what they conceal and what they manifest:

He truly loveth NOT the men of pride.

For when it is said to them, 'What is this your Lord hath sent down?' they say, "Fables of the ancients',

That on the Day of Resurrection they may bear their own entire burden, and the burden of those whom they, in their ignorance, misled. Shall it not be a grievous burden for them?"

Since he told us 1 month ago he is gay im finding it difficult to accept but im trying. I dont go to church but i think there is a God and it says in the bible it is wrong. At first i was angry and for 2 weeks i wouldnt even talk to him. Sometimes now i dont want to. Sometimes I just wish he would leave the house but its difficult to reject my own brother completley.

Even though it's one of the most blood-soaked books in human history, why isn't it still a part of your culture? Is witchcraft still not against your faith? And many of you still believe Satan is out there messing with people's minds, so why aren't you still out there putting people on trial for witchcraft? What's changed in your faith that this book is no longer used and why do you think it changed?

Do you think it might be because the church was telling lies to it's subjects in order to keep them faithful?

They wouldn't do that, would they?

Yet I don't know how to get something like this started cause three of my friends and I want to reach out to our generation. What steps much we go through to get this started?

The ancient Greeks & Romans rejected kneeling as part of their worship saying it was unworthy of a free man, unsuitable for their culture and appropriate for barbarians. Is your belief that its not just our physical position, but a humble posture of the heart in showing a deep reverence for God? I believing in kneeling before God.

I had these kids come to my door telling me a story of their guy they look up to finding these golden texts from south america he dug out of the ground and then translated into english and then i was excited cuz i was like wow you have the golden texts in this wierd language somewhere!? And at that point they were like well no an angel came and took them away. Yah how convenient. Ill try that next time a cop asks for my license and insurance. Also, if I was going to be a really religious dude and spend a freaking year or whatever peddling my butt around the country preaching it would be for a religion thats older than a couple hundred years. If youre a mormon you really need to take a look at what you believe in.

Hello, i am a believer and went to church since i was a child. In all this time, some of my questions i havent found the answers to yet. Like where does it say in the bible where god's appearance originated from. there is the holy trinity of god, consisting of god, Jesus and the holy spirit. He created us from his image. But where does his likely appearance originate from in the beginning? Did he originate from the holy spirit, which was there in eternity before him? It must say so somewhere in the bible (old testament). Sorry, i have only almost finished reading the new testament yet and some parts of the old testament. The aim of this question of course, is to better understanding the Lord and finally to better be able to serve him. God bless you.

Reffering to both sylvia browne and James randi one person said, "each of them has a good racket scamming their respective followers."

and another said

"James Randy is a fraud he makes his money feeding lies to the people."

I am 100% convinced that these qotes are wrong but what would ever lead anyone to these conclusions. How can you call James Randi a fraud he doesn't claim anything that is false. also, the main content f his website is freely available.

Okay, I belong to a non-religiously-affiliated Pro-Life organisation but I am the Pagan minority.
Christians come up to me and when I don't answer "YES! I LOVE JESUS TOO!" Or say prayers along with them, they scream at me at the top of their lungs "JESUS! JESUS!" about 3 inches from my face. They yell Bible verses at me, and I plainly and non-offensively tell them that I came to support life, not have people screaming at me about Christianity. Its only giving me a twisted veiw of Christians, and I know from experience not all are like this.
Now they know they can't convert me, they realised that I am not going to 'change'. So they whisper about me and imply I'm going to 'hell', my soul belongs to Satan, and its my fault that abortions are being performed. Some parents there glare at me and pull the kids away. I am against abortion, I don't attempt to convert them to Paganism. Why do they treat me like this when I am protesting right beside them?
