Okay, I belong to a non-religiously-affiliated Pro-Life organisation but I am the Pagan minority.
Christians come up to me and when I don't answer "YES! I LOVE JESUS TOO!" Or say prayers along with them, they scream at me at the top of their lungs "JESUS! JESUS!" about 3 inches from my face. They yell Bible verses at me, and I plainly and non-offensively tell them that I came to support life, not have people screaming at me about Christianity. Its only giving me a twisted veiw of Christians, and I know from experience not all are like this.
Now they know they can't convert me, they realised that I am not going to 'change'. So they whisper about me and imply I'm going to 'hell', my soul belongs to Satan, and its my fault that abortions are being performed. Some parents there glare at me and pull the kids away. I am against abortion, I don't attempt to convert them to Paganism. Why do they treat me like this when I am protesting right beside them?

Mr. Semper: I swear to you I'm not lying. Do you think that because I'm not of your faith?

Pretty odd. So sorry that there are Christians that abuse you. I am a Christian and it would be very far from my religious beliefs to scream at you or anyone - except if a person were yanking my child out from me. BUT,

Anyway, can you use your powers of mental stability to answer kindly and move away from such brutal behavior? According to my Bible, the unbeliever is on his or her way to hell after death, but I am responsible to explain what I believe to those who are able to hear. Your choice is made, and I would ask you to be forgiving of 'bad' Christians. We are not sin-free you know!! Just forgiven by God.

Does this make sense? - hope so. My kids would be glad to make friends with you. I am not scared of those people who hold other beliefs.

Maybe they are better Christians than I am, because once you tell me you have no desire to be converted, you could go right on wherever people go that don't believe in Jesus. However, I will ask God to save you from your own destruction. He can you know. He said it on the cross. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." And so you see, he still Love's us, even when we are out of our minds.

I believe you. What I don't understand is why you are pro-life. It is actually pro-poverty because these parents can't afford another child nor do they want one, so why make them suffer for one mistake? Give pregnant women a get out of jail free card!

While there are a lot of well-meaning people who do not like abortion, activist groups are not the best place to find them. You're simply more likely to run into fanatical Christians in those kinds of groups because they're often designed to attract that sort of Christian.

You're probably better off elsewhere.

As someone who's strongly pro-choice, I'm tempted to say to quit the activism altogether. Regardless, though, you'll be happier if you're not with *those* people.

That is because you are learning that Christians are judgemental people who will do anything to convert you. They are confused and love to live by there fairy tale book and yell Jesus at least 50 times a day.

Those people are so ignorant, they don't even care to know what actually "pagan" is,and so the only thing "good" to them is the bible is .

I think it would be appropriate for you to call them on their rudeness. Don't tolerate unacceptable behavior from anyone. Just be sure to tell while calm.
