Reffering to both sylvia browne and James randi one person said, "each of them has a good racket scamming their respective followers."

and another said

"James Randy is a fraud he makes his money feeding lies to the people."

I am 100% convinced that these qotes are wrong but what would ever lead anyone to these conclusions. How can you call James Randi a fraud he doesn't claim anything that is false. also, the main content f his website is freely available.

Are you insinuating that James Randi would purposefully suppress knowledge of the paranormal to keep his fame? That is lunacy.

The James Randi Educational Foundation is a not for profit operation. He earns no income from it. It's possible he makes money speaking and performing, but what else is he going to do for income?

He is a debunker of the paranormal, so it doesn't take much to determine who it is slandering him. He gains nothing from his efforts. Like Houdini, he is fed up with seeing people get fleeced by con artists. Sylvia Browne is a fraud. She on the other hand does operate for profit. Compare the two on any of the sites below.

Anyone who has deeply held beliefs that are in conflict with the facts James Randi deals in will naturally consider him to be a fraud. Its an act of self-preservation.

Sylvia Browne charges for psychic readings, even though she has been proven wrong multiple times.

http://www.stopsylviabrowne.com for some examples - such as Shawn Hornbeck.

I'm not sure if James Randi charges for anything, and I think the folks who accuse him of "lying" are those who can't measure up to the challenges of proof that he offers, so it's easier to decry him as a liar rather than admit that they can't prove themselves right.

Maybe they should call James Randi to debunk James Randi.

Yes, what bunk. The man simply questions those who would fleece the uninformed.
