Beta Fishy- I grew up in Mormonism. I saw members take advantage of each other in business. I saw girls treated like dirt after being raped because Kimball said it was better to let yourself be killed than be defiled. I saw cliques. The gossip was atrocious. I saw youth go to the temple for baptisms and the then go back to the hotel to drink and get stoned. I saw missionaries teach minors without parental consent. I saw guys knock girls up- the girls were sent away and the guys still got to go on their missions. I saw kids with learning disabilities teased and looked down upon. I saw bishops who refused to acknowlege their kids drug use and then slander my father when he told the bishop his kids were the ones supplying the drugs. I

And that's just problems with the people. I now know that Joseph Smith was well known as a conman with an insatiable appetite for young girls. I believe Mormonism is the apostate church that Paul warned believers about. I believe it leads people away from a saving knowlege of Christ by faith into a works based system that lkeads to hell- and also makes God the debtor- because if it's by works then God owes you and the cross is of no effect.
If I saw a kid running into the middle of the street and a car was coming, I would try to save the child. I am trying to do the same thing by speaking out against mormonism. I am trying to save lives, to bring them out of the hands of satan. Mormonism is a cult that makes mockery of God by lowering Him to man's level- as most mormons say God "earned godhood". They also elevate man to God's level by saying man can become god. That is blasphemy!!

I would say, "Because I followed your will to the best of my ability. I believed in your Son and I believed what He taught. I received baptism and followed your commandments to the best of my ability. So...I'm here to claim the reward you promised to me."
But God would never ask such a question. He wouldn't need to. We would know without a doubt whether or not we were worthy to be in His presence. Wouldn't you agree?
EDIT: Imasis...why do you constantly attack the Mormon church on R&S? I mean, I click on your profile and it's a little scary to look at the single-mindedness of your questions. Did the LDS church do something to you to make you hate them so much? I'm sincerely curious. Thanks.
EDIT 2: Thanks for the feedback Imasis. It sounds like you had some really bad experiences with a handful of really wacked people when you were younger. I've never seen things in the LDS church like what you describe, so I can't really relate to your experiences. Your doctrinal comments though are clearly in error. Joseph Smith was no conman. He was not made wealthy through his leadership of the church. In fact, he ended up giving his life for it. Conmen don't do that. He didn't have an insatiable appetite for young girls. He never had sexual relations outside of his relationship with Emma that I'm aware of, unless you have evidence to the contrary?
The LDS church believes firmly that we are "saved by grace after all that we can do". The scriptures are quite clear that we are saved by grace, which is why "Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ" is the first principle of the LDS gosepl. The Bible also teaches that "Faith without works is dead", which makes it quite clear that faith without works is not real faith, so works are just as necessary as faith is. You can't have one without the other. But in no way do we believe that we can "earn" our way into heaven. That's just not LDS doctrine.
As far as Mormons "lowering God to man's level", that's just not true either. We worship God as reverently as any other church. We know that He is perfect and exalted, and we speak about Him very respectfully. He is the literal Father of our spirits, and we worship Him as such.
I don't know where you have gotten some of your ideas about Mormonism and Joseph Smith, but they are simply not accurate.

I took the ability that i became blessed with and used interior the way that He would have needed me to. I remained a being concerned, beneficiant, loving person no count what negativity got here my way.

That is a great question. If that is how it went I would probably say something along the lines of "Your Only-Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, paid the price for my sins. Upon Him I put my faith and have tried to follow His teachings. I will let him plead my case."

I don't think that's the way it's going to work. He already knows, and we are going to know which kingdom we will go to when we are Judged. I don't think I"ll have to say much, and there certainly won't be any defending myself or my actions. I did what I did and for that reason I will be judged. The Atonement will come into it and hopefully I will hear the words I long to hear - Well done thou good and faithful servant.

I would figure God would already know why He should or should not let me or anyone else into His presence so I figure it was a tiny test to see how honest I was so I would tell the truth.

Because I believed upon thy Son, Jesus Christ. I applied the blood of thy Son to myself by my repentance. My faith was not a dead faith like thy Apostle James spoke against, but it was active, living faith because I coupled it with good works, always striving to obey thy commandments. I believed in thy modern day prophets and apostles. I know that those who accept thy servants accept thee, O Lord. I have a strong testimony in thy modern day prophets and apostles who testify of the Divine Redeemer, thy Son, Jesus Christ. I know that He lives. He is my Savior. I thank thee, O Heavenly Father, for the sacrifice of thy Son. I pray that I may dwell with thee forever as a joint-heir with my Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank you.

Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
