Is it an actual tree that we will eat from or is it symbolic of our relationship with Jesus and God.

Kind of like when Jesus said he is the vine and he is the branch...

Do we have eternal life from actually eating some fruit or from our relationship?

It doesn't have to be a religious movie, just one that shows the virtues you claim your religion calls for.

When it happened to me, I thought of my wife and kids, how they would feel, how they would manage without me, how they would have to sort out all my stuff, whether they would be able to access the family digital photos in my account on the PC, things like that... the nonsense idea of a god or an afterlife was the last thing on my mind.

Slightly modified by me, PIRATE SEAN posed this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtNw_mUhHy5GdAlBE6ZUh9vsy6IX?qid=20070707081914AAE4bin&show=7#profile-info-9oD6hJOsaa
but the answer that he picked was a no answer answer. I think it deserves a redo. Here’s a chance for us to do a much better job on the question.

PIRATE SEAN added this: quoting scripture that you have know idea what it means. You sound and look foolish. Be LIKE Christ, don’t try to be Christ.

Ear GW (me) answered like this:

If I've been taught by my Master and am attempting to become like him then maybe that has something to do with how you feel I answer a question? I agree that you may get that feeling from my answers.

However, one of my first goals is to be a gentleman when I answer. I try very hard to make sure I say, "I believe" and not "I know" this or that. However, if I am sure about something then I say it …or write it… confidently and I will say then that “I know it”.

For example, If my Master says that he is the only way to God, the Father (And He did):
Using perfect logic then, he is either a liar, or lunatic or he’s correct. Now, no leader or founder of the other major religions has made this claim. So, because ours is one of the four major religions (there are 6 major belief systems, however) it behooves anyone reading my statement to find out which one of those things that my Master is. If a person is not going to look into this conundrum then they are ones acting overconfident, not I, and not, as you put it, “all the CHRISTIANS”.

Therefore, in this case, I will say, "I know". It has to be one of the three: liar, lunatic or Master. Ok, so I sound kinda’ like a guru. But is what I am saying true or not?! Wouldn’t that matter above and beyond what I, or we, sound like as long as the writer is truly being a gentleman?!

Jehovah, the bible God wants worship, so we end up suffering and we give up our entire life and desires and our own hopes to worship Jehovah. To the bible God we are mortal beings that where once dust and will return to dust. We really are nothing according to the Bible and we need God for salvation.

Deepak Chopra states to embrace our bodies now and that we are like imortal God's ourselfs. That we can be happy and have a fullfilling life this same instant and live in paradise state our entire lifes.

Which would you choose?

Every day from the minute we wake up, till the minute our heads hit the pillow... we are confronted with questions. Big and small, from "Why are we here?" to "What will i have for lunch?"...these questions affect how we live our lives. Sometimes we are consumed by the unasked questions we fear to ask because we are fearfull of the answer....Sometimes the answers to our questions will relieve our minds others it will shatter our thin veneers.
What is the one question that you are scared to ask?
I will add my reason for this and how it relates to our spirituality in the details before i close this question....
Blessings everyone!

This article pictures, quotes from, and explains a publication in 1919 of a Jewish holocaust by the Kaiser's Germany and in which the same 6 million Jews were said to have been murdered between 1914-1919, during World War One, 28 years before the Nuremberg Trial made that exact sae accusation against defeated Nazi Germany. This fantasy was repeated in the Nuremberg Trail and subsequent Military Tribunals and Star Chambers held by the Allied Armies in which there was no defense allowed, only accusations from the military courts.

The 7/15/60 WT page 444 says that the "faithful and discreet slave" was guided by Jehovah's "unerring" spirit which enabled them to make known who would win WWII, and the events "enerringly" took place 3 years later. Also, in 1958 they had "amazing advance information" about Daniel’s prophecy in the book “Your Will Be Done on Earth" because "Once again" the slave has been"tipped off ahead of time".

If the WT isn't a prophet, how can they have "unerring" information in "advance" from the Holy Spirit? Isn't it true that they only deny having "advance" information whenever someone points out their prophetic failures, as in Zechariah 13:3-5 - the prophet will become ashamed (because he spoke falsehood) and say "I am not a prophet"?

Remember God today in all you do/see/hear/taste/smell. Watch as He paints you a beautiful sunrise. If it rains then thank Him for the sustenance it brings to the earth. If the sun shines gives thanks for it's warmth. Be grateful for all you eat today even if it's not your favorite. Take time to smell the air and thank Him for your senses.
Thank God for giving you breath this day and allowing you to live yet another day on this earth He's created for you. You are His most favored/loved creation of all the universe. Show Him your love in return. :)
