It doesn't have to be a religious movie, just one that shows the virtues you claim your religion calls for.

Hi, Drake:

The only public movie my wife and I attended was LUTHER. It did a good job of reminding us of where we've been.

Hollywood making a movie that portrays anything that is scriptualy right is funny. The closest movie ever made by Hollywood was Jesus of Nazareth. I guess I would pick that movie in that it comes the closest.

No movie that I know of portrays closely my religious virtues.
However, the series, The Andy Griffith Show, or Little House on the Prairie come close.

There really aren't any that come to mind. The only thing that even comes CLOSE is the boy in Pay it Forward. Though the father in Life is Beautiful, if that's considered Hollywood, comes close.

Well the Christian virtues are traditionally considered to be faith, hope and love. So my movie picks would be....

Faith: Signs (About a priest losing and regaining his faith. Oh, and aliens.)
Hope: The Shawshank Redemption (I'm incredibly moved every time I watch it.)
Love: In America (About a family of Irish immigrants living in New York.)

I agree with Rachel about "Signs." Another good one (for the purposes of this question) would be "Facing the Giants." It was kind of boring at first, and took a bit of waiting to actually get into it, but it portrays Christian values well - finding God's will, loving your family, etc.
