I don't think Noah's story is literal, still, If it was, thats i think the easiest question to awnser about stuff Noah did.
Well, there were a couple of mices on the ark right? That means that after like a month there would be like a thousand of them overpopulating the ark and ready to be eaten by any carnivore.
The same goes for rats, rabbits, cockroaches etc.
He'd have to have taken only a little extra carnivore food and a lot of herbivore food on the ark.
Want it to get triky?
Well here it goes
There are about 800.000 species of insects. 1)Some of them you simply can't diferentiate between male and female unless youre an expert, others you only can know the sex if you dissecate it 2)Some species have the oposite problem, male and female are totaly and completly different, again, if youre not an expert you'll never guess they're from the same species 3) Insects that have larval forms, how did he know? He picked up only the adults or what?
And after all that there is still te problem with animals with very very specific diets and/or habits. Like wasps that mate on in side the flower of one specific species of ficus tree, and bugs who feed exclusively on some species.
Carnivores were, i think, the least of Noah's problems

interesting fact: Some experts believe, based on the T-REX theet structure and other carachteristics on the skeleton, that it fed only with meat of already dead victims's carcass (like hyenas and vultures), it did not hunt. Aparently it was to fat and slow to hunt. But that is just an hypothesis, which has been criticised lately.
Also the T-Rex had feathers (velociraptors had them to)

Justin S. - That has to be the biggest load of crap I've ever heard.
It's not just about the teeth structure, but their whole SYSTEM depends on meat! If they did not eat meat, they themselves would perish. That's why they're carnivores.
Oh, and a T-Rex would sink Noah's primitive boat. That plus the fact that they were around _just a few_ (notice the underscores for sarcastic effect) years before man.

they were put into stasis on the ship, and then when they were awakened... the great number of animals were allowed to fight between themselves in survival of the fittest, to feed their carnivorous tendencies. so some species died out.
but honestly, who knows?

there were no carnivores till after the flood waters had sunsided. All of them were omnivores. Yes even the T-rex, and I have seen the teeth of one, it is highly possible my God swayed the minds of such animals to be omnivores and eat fruit and vegetables.

Uh, Justin S, there is scientific proof that the last remaining dinosaurs died out tens of millions of years before humans even started thinking about existing.

Carnivores don't just eat meat they mostly eat meat and only like meat, but if they are hungry they'll eat whatever. it's not like herbovores which only eat greenery. Or maybe I'm totally wrong, but God thought of everything and if He doesn't reveal everything to us, if it's something this small, it's probably not important. That or he wants you to figure it out. IDK why don't you ask Him? He's just a prayer away.

Noah didn't feed them anything. They fed themselves.

Maybe each other. Maybe that's how unicorns went extinct. Just kidding. I think that God took care of it. It was called to occur by Him, and He overlooks nothing.
