"Your God is one God: and they who believe not in a future life, have hearts given to denial, and are men of pride:

Beyond a doubt God knoweth what they conceal and what they manifest:

He truly loveth NOT the men of pride.

For when it is said to them, 'What is this your Lord hath sent down?' they say, "Fables of the ancients',

That on the Day of Resurrection they may bear their own entire burden, and the burden of those whom they, in their ignorance, misled. Shall it not be a grievous burden for them?"

Qu'ran: Sura 14:20

"Thanks for Playing"...seems this quote really is about you all since you have all denied the existence of God and even thrown the "fairy tales" ("Fables of the ancients") argument out there.

See ya'll on the Last Day

Im Muslim.. Al`Quran,Said True Words Come from Allah.. The 1 & Only.. Sura Ibrahim (Abraham)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Alif Lam Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring forth men, by their Lord's permission from utter darkness into light-- to the way of the Mighty, the Praised One, (14:1)

(Of) Allah, Whose is whatever is in the heavens and whatever Is in the earth; and woe to the unbelievers on account of the severe chastisement, (14:2)

(To) those who love this world's life more than the hereafter, and turn away from Allah's path and desire to make it crooked; these are in a great error. (14:3)

And We did not send any messenger but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom He pleases err and He guides whom He pleases and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (14:4)

And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications, saying: Bring forth your people from utter darkness into light and remind them of the days of Allah; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one. (14:5)

And when Musa said to his people: Call to mind Allah's favor to you when He delivered you from Firon's people, who subjected you to severe torment, and slew your sons and spared your women; and in this there was a great trial from your Lord. (14:6)

And when your Lord made it known: If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful, My chastisement is truly severe. (14:7)

And Musa said: If you are ungrateful, you and those on earth all together, most surely Allah is Self-sufficient, Praised; (14:8)

Has not the account reached you of those before you, of the people of Nuh and Ad and Samood, and those after them? None knows them but Allah. Their messengers come to them with clear arguments, but they thrust their hands into their mouths and said: Surely we deny that with which you are sent, and most surely we are in serious doubt as to that to which you invite us. (14:9)

Their messengers said: Is there doubt about Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? He invites you to forgive you your faults and to respite you till an appointed term. They said: You are nothing but mortals like us; you wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship; bring us therefore some clear authority. (14:10)

Their messengers said to them: We are nothing but mortals like yourselves, but Allah bestows (His) favors on whom He pleases of His servants, and it is not for us that we should bring you an authority except by Allah's permission; and on Allah should the believers rely. (14:11)

And what reason have we that we should not rely on Allah? And He has indeed guided us in our ways; and certainly we would bear with patience your persecution of us; and on Allah should the reliant rely. (14:12)

And those who disbelieved said to their messengers: We will most certainly drive you forth from our land, or else you shall come back into our religion. So their Lord revealed to them: Most certainly We will destroy the unjust. (14:13)

And most certainly We will settle you in the land after them; this is for him who fears standing in My presence and who fears My threat. (14:14)

And they asked for judgment and every insolent opposer was disappointed: (14:15)

Hell is before him and he shall be given to drink of festering water: (14:16)

He will drink it little by little and will not be able to swallow it agreeably, and death will come to him from every quarter, but he shall not die; and there shall be vehement chastisement before him. (14:17)

The parable of those who disbelieve in their Lord: their actions are like ashes on which the wind blows hard on a stormy day; they shall not have power over any thing out of what they have earned; this is the great error. (14:18)

Do you not see that Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He please He will take you off and bring a new creation, (14:19)

And this is not difficult for Allah. (14:20)

Wow, my faith in God and belief in his purpose don't grant me relief from any of your concerns for atheists. Life IS absurd and faith is an inside job. My belief in God in no way informs the universe how to act, it only informs me. When I die my faith goes with me and whatever is out there takes over. I think you have it confused (along with the atheists) that faith is the simple path that leads away from questions and towards empty-headedness. That just isn't so. I give my life meaning THROUGH faith. God does not bestow a purpose to my life like handing out dorm assignments in Harry Potter. The implication of what you are saying is that a person of faith NEVER has to be lonely, confused or feel overwhelmed by the nature of existence and the ephemeralness of life. In other words YOUR BELIEF IN GOD IS A PACIFIER. I want no part of that. That is the faith of a FIVE YEAR OLD. I have a grown up, existentialist belief system, that, same as an atheist's, must deal with the tragic, devastating blank walls that life throws at us. I think your premise is flawed both ways around in other words.

Warning or threat? For how long shall I consider it?
I consider it.
I consider it a quote from a book of fairy tales just like the x-tian bible, the Jewish testaments, etc.

A warning from a book written by men for the purpose of issuing control over other men using fear as the mechanism. Nothing new here, same old tactics.

That god must be a jerk, hurting people just for not believing in old fairy tales.

This is dangerously close to an Islamic version of Pascal's Wager (a.k.a. Pascal's Sucker Bet).

As someone else said in a different answer, "Oh yeah? Well Harry Potter says you're a Muggle!"

OH MY GOD! I have now just seen the way of the true lord and God!

Fool... What on earth makes you believe that people are going to consider some pathetic rantings from some new age religion? Your religions are approx 2000 years old, you hold no real sway and all forms of christianism and 'God' etc are already starting to collapse...

Get a life and leave pagans/Athiests to their own...

Better watch out for the Boogie Man. You want to consider that a warning?

why would that frighten someone who doesnt believe it?

Thats like trying to scare a gay guy straight by telling him that hes gonna get his boyfriend pregnant. He knows it isnt going to happen, and just because someone tells him it is, doesnt mean its going to.
