Is there a connection between Him and Santa? Seriously, not trying to mock here. Can He be trusted? I'm devoted to Thor and know He's always reliable and trustworthy, but I've always had a lingering doubt about getting involved with Odin.

Spirituality is a fairly large field to be getting bogged down like this. In any event,it's very boring. It's also impossible of resolution so why bother? Let the fundies think as they please. Who cares if they think the world is 7,000 years or whatever. They are a minority; they will never get school prayer,or "creationism" taught in public schools, what to speak of establishing a Christian theocracy. It's all idiotic. Why is everyone wasting time with all this? Why are you atheists so obsessed with fundies? You're taking up an awful lot of space. You're not going to "debunk" fundie theology for fundies. You're not going to change anything. They will continue to believe as they do. Why all this waste?

After a while I get frustrated with all the NAY sayers and their beliefs that their is No Eternity or God or Anything.....They only BELIEVE in what they see...Hmmm the AIR we breath is NOT visable, BUT people believe we breathe it!!!! It has to be there, right??? I don't know, my dad has been gone for almost 20 years, Now I believe he exsisted, because I SAW him, but my other neices and newphews who NEVER met him, well they BELIEVE he once Lived!!!! That's my Point, Christ was Born and Died for ALL of Mankind, yet some people are SO Niave they turn their backs to the Truth, because they CAN'T Handle the Truth....They LOVE their Sin, so why Bother changing? Awww or their Life has been soooooo bad for one pathetic reason or another satan has blinded them, and their So Niave they can't understand that.....A person CAN'T be nice to them, because they Don't know what that is either!!! So be it......

I was reading the origional concept of Atheism as defined by the courts in US in the mid 1900s I believe, I will source it later.

Anyway reading that it sounds like they are more devoted to the biblicle Gods will of us creating heaven on Earth than a lot of other theologys.

What do you think?
If Atheists created heaven on earth would you be happy?

This is a diagram of how a living organism came from being a fish, to an ape, and finally a human.

If not believing these thing makes me stupid, it is not that bad being stupid.

"I was" once a fish and then a ape, and after that human. Yeah right.
That that fish came from the water to survive on the land. And after some process became other kind of animals and then ape and finally a human. Yeah right.
"Evolution happens when animals feel the need to adapt. Why would the fish leave the water if it was not too hot nor the cold? Wouldn't it be easier to adapt to adapt to the hot or colder water instead?
Brain grows? However, scientists have yet to show an living REAL example. These make me stupid as many atheists say? Well it may be better to be stupid.

Everlastion Life does it mean life on earth, or life in heaven?

Matthew 19:16. “Teacher, what good must I do in order to get everlasting life?”
Psalms 37:29, The righteous themselves will possess the earth,And they will reside forever upon it.
Ecclesiastes 3:11, Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the work that the [true] God has made from the start to the finish
Psalms 145:16, You are opening your hand
And satisfying the desire of every living thing.
Romans 6:23, For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord
Matthew 5:5, Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth

So if in your Bible you see these scriptures, what conclusion do you get about everlasting life, is it on earth or heaven?

If NO, than what makes you believe a man 2,000 years ago was telling the truth?

If YES, than I am the son of god.

im not saying you should know every little detail or anything, but ive heard several times that we "don't believe in Christ" or something like that. but we fully believe in Christ. the name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His name is in the church's name. why would it be there if we didn't believe in him. the 1st Article of Faith says: "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." everything in the Book of Mormon shows that we believe in Him. He comes to the people in the Book of Mormon. the prophets received revelation from Him. we believe in the Bible. so why do you criticize us without looking into it?

My second question is about opposites. I hear many people say that to have peace on must have war, cold - heat, etc.But I was wondering who defines opposites but ourselves. Arent opposites defined by our own limitation and what are opposites but two sides of the same coin. like cold a lesser form of heat. So who says opposites need each other? the universe we live in is a dynamic one, so opposites are understood through variations of intensity, like different levels of frequencys. So who can say there are two set of opposites that need each other to exist? who says that it is not more like a circle where there are no bounderies, we define the bounderies? I understand that to know cold one needs heat, but where does heat end and cold start?
good and bad, are they not the result of each other? if one has no good, one has no bad, so peace is a reaction of war, or rather peace is war made less intense? could the concept or abstract of good and bad be destroyed, and would that not be peace

and the return of Jesus to earth..
I would like to ask the people who do not believe this a question..
I watched a little of the LIVE CONCERT this weekend and found it hard to understand, if this was accomplishing anything but a little music for the crowd suffering from extreme heat.

Todat's climate is getting far worse, the fires burnig massively in several states, flooding, the potential for the electrical grid to shut down and more climatic disasters.

So my question is what do you think is going to happen to the world as climate worsens?

According to oral laws accompanying the Tanach (what Christians refer to as the old testament) sinners had to be seen by 2 Kosher witnesses (people who had not publicly commited sin) before they could even be brought before the Sanhedrin (high court), and then condemned in order to receive capital punishment.

Jesus did face down the mob, but all he told them was what they already knew: They had no right to judge sin themselves. It was not an original idea, he was just reminding them of the oral portion of the law.

What, else, is taken out of context when the writings are considered without the accompanying oral tradition (that most Christians are not aware of)?

From the Bible, John 8:7 (King James Version):

"So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."

In Islam this is not permitted because everyone is considered a brother or a sister. So if A person borrows $100 bucks from you they get to pay you $100 back. Same if you were the one borrowing. I find this to be fair, but of course the person borrowing must honor the term of time in which this money is borrowed. In any case I want to know your thoughts.

Thanks so much for your kind comments :)

Have a wonderful afternoon,
M.
