If you were born human, then you have sinned. It 's according to your relationship with your God if you believe you need to go to church. Not what someone else believes you need to do.

Their is a sin and were all guilty of it all. Why are we baptized? If you read your bible every day. Maybe you can stay home. We are still supposed to go to church. If you believe you do not, we all have free will. I guess that's your decision. If you only have original sin, that's a good question. I have to skip every once in awhile. The only one without sin, I guess besides you is our Lord Jesus. Maybe this is just a question. Do not know would like more information. Maybe I miss understood your question.

Everyone sins. No one sinless. Church is for fellowship and to hear a message about your daily life and the scripture to back it up so that we may be encouraged. Forgiveness can be given anywhere you are not just church. Christians avoid living in sin but sometimes we fall and we get back up again and keep running the race God has before us. In church and through the bible you will learn a lot to deal with the daily ins and outs of life. Its a good place to be.

There are sins that we are aware of committing in the sight of God, but because He is so much more Holier than we could ever be we commit sins all day long that we aren't even aware of!
So, don't think for one moment that you aren't sinning, because in the eyes of our Father you are a big sinner!

Now, for the going to church. I don't think that going to a Catholic inspired mainstream Christian church will necessarily be the answer for you, because they teach man-made laws that will not be able to save you or anyone else.

Try to find a church that teaches and believes in the Bible and the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles. (Tip) the right church will not have Christmas, Easter, trees, crosses, steeples etc.

God Bless You

First of all everyone has sinned.
Secondly, said assembly is encouraged in scripture. You're going to spend eternity with these folks. One of the things you're here for is to learn to get along, even love ( ! ) these folks.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

You don't go to church because you sin. The truth is that if you say you have no sin, you are either fooling yourself, or lying to the world. There is no one alive who has NO sin, except Jesus Christ.
You go to church to use the gifts God gave you for the good of the Christian community (another name for church). Churches are to equip the believers to minister outside in the secular community.
All church is, is a microcosm of the world in a Christian context, following the Christian scriptures. It has nothing to do with sin. It's for believers who ALL sin, and for unbelievers who also sin, to get to know God.

If you never sin then you are perfect and according to the bible no one is perfect we were all born with sin.... Going to church is not only to be forgiven from sin cause that you can do in a prayer. Going to church is a fellowship along with praise and worship... In otherwords everyone sins and going to church is one way in growing closer to God....

Romans tells us that All have sinned {there is no exception.} and fall short of the Glory of God. With this in mind going to church is your decision, but by going you learn in what way you are a sinner, what you can do to over come this sin and you will find joy. Find a friend who goes to church and ask if you can go with them.

Your question unfortunately is purely hypothetical, because all of us humans have sinned, and continue to sin everyday. This includes not only you, me and the real dastardly sinners like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Atila the Hun and Genghis Kahn, but all the saints, the popes, rabbis and imams throughout religious history, including Mahatma Ghandi, Dalai Lama, and even Mother Theresa too!

And, going to church is not going to resolve this big problem of yours either, because no amount of religious deeds will resolve or take away your sins, both because of your sinful nature that you have inherited from your first ancestors, and because you will sadly discover that all of us actually love to sin, and don't desire to change this at all, if you would just be willing to examine yourself up against what God requires of you.

To do this, I'd like to ask you to just take a good hard look at the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20, and how Jesus says we should keep them in Matthew chapter 5. In respect to these references, do you still honestly believe that you do, even can do, or measure up to what God requires? Both our sinful nature and our sins eternally separate us from God, that's unless someone who has not sinned can pay the penalty of death and separation from God (Hell) for us. And guess what? It has been done in Jesus Christ, God's only Son. All who will put their trust in Him, and not their works, including going to church, will not only find God's favor, but a pretty exciting personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe too forever, starting right now in this life!

Oh, by the way, about the "need" to go to church; once you put your trust in Christ, then you won't be asking this question any longer. It won't really be about any "need" to go, but it will turn into a "want" to go, just like the anticipation that we feel when we want to go on a date! :-)

Hello,Tom:

Sin and church attendance are not related; in fact, the church is a hospital for sinners. And although you will find a few saints there, most are people trying to get the victory over sin through Christ's strength. And church attendance serves as a second home with those who are heaven bound.

When the apostles spread the Gospel, they formed churches wherever they went. They appointed teachers (called Elders) and workers Called Deacons). And in Hebrews Paul speaks of some who departed from the fellowship and states they were not really one of us.

Paul, after his conversion on the road to Damascus, taught in different communities as he was led by the Spirit, but when there was a problem, he returned to Jerusalem and asked the Apostles for their decision (Acts 15).

If you are truly born again with Christ dwelling within you, you will love to fellowship with the Church Family, and do all you can to share your faith with others.

Keeping the law for salvation is known as WORKS, and we don't work our way to heaven, but CHRIST WORKS IN US, DOING HIS GOOD PLEASURE.

Blessings and AGAPE, Balaam

P.S., Tom: Although the church is to work together with its members, don't ever put your faith in another human. Jesus says "It is Written". we are to "live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God", and that is His Bible. Jesus is your Savior, and you can take all your troubles to Him, He will never weary of your talking to Him in prayer.
