Yes he answers all prayers but it is not always the answer that someone wants. That is why people say he doesn't answer prayers - because they didn't like the answer they got. Sometimes we have to wait for what we want, or we have to work for what we want and some people want a god that just hands things over. A prayer is sometimes answered through another person who inspires you to act and resolve a problem on your own without waiting for God to provide.

I am shaking my head in amazement at the delusions occupying so many people who have answered this question.

Q: Does god answer prayer?
A: He answers all prayers with a "yes," a "no" or a "maybe".

So if what you want to happens happens then it's because you had faith and god allowed it to. If it didn't happen it's because either god didn't think it was time or else because you didn't believe hard enough. Wow, looks like all bases are covered. Kinda the same way as if no praying took place at all. In other words, either it happens or it doesn't. Praying doesn't seem to increase the chances of it taking place.

And so many Christians wonder why their beliefs are questioned. The next time you wonder that, look at the answers here.

Yes, God has answered my prayers many times.

I believe the Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit) can offer us comfort and guidance through the "Still, Small Voice"

Does God tell us what lottery numbers to buy? No.
Will he tell us what car to buy? No.

But He does guide us, the more we walk in His way, the easier it is for us to be sensitive to the promptings of the Spirit.

I bear my testimony that God loves us, and does answers our prayers.

God answers all prayers. Sometimes with "yes," sometimes "no", and sometimes "later."

A few weeks ago my pastor was having some health problems. The doctors hadn't yet pinpointed the problem. We held an annointing service for him, and the congregation was united in the laying on of hands and prayer for him. Since that time he's been referred to a specialist, but still no news on what's wrong. But he is doing much better now.

Yes God answers all prayers. The answer is either yes, no, or wait. Yes I have much testimony to my answered prayers. To much to put on here. But here is one. God answered my prayer to cure me of ovarian cancer, doctors gave me 3 months, that was almost 13 years ago. God cured me, not doctors or medicine or science.

God answers prayers...On Fathers day my 1 yr old son got very sick doctors said he had a bad infection in his blood...our church prayed along with us and when the second test results came back there was nothing found in his blood.
Doctors could figure out how or why the infection was gone...but we knew why and we knew who cleansed my son from any infection...We know God did it cause sure as heck science doesn't do anything but give you bad news...

I was possessed for the young part of my life from 8 to 24. When I gave myself to God HE took them away.

Does that do anything for you?

He also has been answering my prayers ever since. God is very creative; not surprising, is it?

God answers prayer. What Christian fail in is the Believing part. They really don't expect anything to happen. Well guess what!? They got what they believed for.

Jesus said He's already overcome the world. So go get in the Word, pray, believe God and walk away from that problem. The power is within you to do it.

That's what you need to do. Quit seeing yourself defeated by your flesh and start seeing yourself like the Word says you are – raised up together with Jesus and seated with Him in heavenly places! (See Eph. 2:6).

Get your perspective on things from that heavenly position with Him.

Meditate in the Word and give your spirit man something to grow on. As 1 Peter 2:2 says, "Desire the sincere milk of the Word that you may grow. Then move on to the strong meat of the Word which belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil" (Heb. 5:14).

Bring your spirit man into ascendancy over your mind and your body. You'll still have to fight the fight of faith to keep them in line. But if you're walking in the spirit, you'll win every time. With a healthy, Word-controlled, obedient body, you'll be glad you did.

CONFESSION:
I overcome the flesh by seeing myself as the Word says that I am – raised up together with Jesus and seated with Him in heavenly places.

Yes God always answers prayer but the answer is often either not heard/ignored because the answer is not what we expected or hoped for it to be. Sometimes the answer is NO but there is always an answer.
