It changes weekly, every group stakes a claim, nothing happens, then the next bunch of loons takes over. It never ceases to amaze me that such gullible folk exist.

I never heard anyone claim the rapture would be on 7/7/07. It doesn't surprise me that someone somewhere made a case for that and got loads of people to believe it. I wouldn't have believed it anyway. NO man knows the hour when the Lord will return.

there has been some indicators, 9 11 became marks because of the fact the final disaster. And in WWII Israel grew to alter right into a rustic which became one, and dissimilar Jews are going lower back to Israel that's the tribes coming jointly that's yet another. yet rapture is a miss description. this is the Resurrection.

gullible ones, whether they were real or not only God knows. Unfortunately, it wasn't unprecedented, there were supposed to be raptures in 1988, 1991, and 1994 and people actually sold their belongings assuming they wouldn't need them any more (not sure where they planned to spend the money...) But looks like some people never learn. I believe the person who predicted 1994 is now saying 2012 and people are actually listening to him.

They tend to follow every new wind of doctrine or teachings.
They would be known as the Alarmist Christians.
