what will Jesus do during his 1000 year kingdom? Jehovah ´s witness preach that Jesus after Armageddon and destruction of wrongdoers and Satan put in "Jail" will rule the earth (Revelation 5:10) will resurrect people (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines (Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:28) if unless they wouldn´t sinned this is the message we preach, you told that is false, why? can you with the bible prove , that is false?

after 1000 years mankind will have a second test, Satan release and after that destroyed and Jesus give the kingdom to his father (Jehovah) (1 Corithians 15:28)

what of this is false? and then if is false what is going to be the future?

Some atheists think every religion and person try to force them into believing in God. Sure, some people do that, but aren't you contradicting yourself by trying to tell religious people that they shouldn't believe?

If you can't. Then this mean your not all knowing. If there is 1% of a chance there is a God would you be open to see it?

In science, an opinion becomes a hypothesis
While studying it, a good hypothesis becomes a theory.
A theory being studied and monitored and investigated closely, becomes a Law.
A Law can still be disproved, but for the most part has been studied carefully to makes sense. Scientists have faith in their Law. Now, many people see religion as a "Law". It has been tested and twisted, and people have been trying to discard it for centuries, but yet it still remains. If Christianity was just an opinion, created from faith, it has proven itself worthy many times. Faith in Christianity can never be completely disproved. It it was possible, it would have been done by now. Faith in essence, was God's opinion, and his opinion, skips the theory stage and goes straight to Law.

Does this make sense? I used this an answer to a question about Faith a few minutes ago.

That's really sad that a religion that claims to worship a creator has to hide from his creation when worshipping him.

Do walls and stained glass take the place of fog, forest and starlight?

Do narrow pews and uncomfortable seats bring you closer to the divine than the gurgling of a brook, the gentle yielding nature of the moss and the grandeur of boulders that have sat unmoved for thousands of years?

Are you so afraid of lightning you huddle under robes in hopes of escaping it?

Is Life so scary you pray for death to alleviate you of this 'burden'?

Like mice scurrying for burrows, you race for the safety of four walls and a roof rather than embrace the planet that gave you birth?

Pfaw!

So in a million+ years (I doubt we'll get there anyway) what if people don't believe what is happening today (i.e. events, tragedies, etc) even though we have documented "proof"?

What do you think is going to happen when you die?

Do you think life is some random coincidence, and has no meaning?

Are you open to the possibility that there is a God who loves as his son and wants the best for you, but you are afraid to believe in him or just "Don't see enough evidence"?

Sorry, you don't have to answer all 3 of those questions, but i am curious to see your response on any of them or all of them.

Properly that day is Saturday. For most Xtians its Sunday.
But what will happen if I take no regard for it?
Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Thats one of the 10 commandents, & God does nothing everytime I or anyone disobeys it.

This is a quote from another answer.

"Athiests are less likely to marry simply because their Religion makes it a requirement for getting laid."

Is this implying that an atheist's beliefs require him/her to have sex?

Or is it saying that atheists don't see marriage as a requirement for sex?

*sighs* This is why I don't do much after work. I can't seem to think straight.

I think its quite odd that I'm highly non-religous, yet hava a religous based name *Ismail* {Muslim spelling of Ismael, son of Abraham or something like that...}

Does anyone else that is agnostic, atheistic, or non-religous find it Ironic if you have a religous name, like a biblical or islamic name?

PS do you know if there is any pronounciation difference between "Ismail" and "Ismael", I only ask cause I have a professor next semester with the later name, always wondered, I always just pronounced my name like its written (is-mail), not accentuating the "shh" noise. kindly help if you know, but the original question is a little more important

We have no control over the fact that we are all born with a sin nature so Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. So sin is not the issue. What seperates us from God is "our" choice not to have Faith in what Jesus did for us. So in short, God did everything for us to go to heaven. It's our choice to believe. The Bible says that God has even given all a measure of faith. If you have read this and have not put faith in Jesus Christ - please do - it's the best decision in life you will ever make. Does anyone agree?

I hate how Mormons say they are not all that different from Christians.

First off, Mormons believe that you can eventually become a God. THAT is blasphemy. Mormonism is a polytheistic religion.

Secondly, their defense against the ridiculous stories in the book of mormon is that the Bible has silly stories too. Nothing could be further from the truth. The stories in the Bible actually happened. We have PROOF that all the stories happened, unlike mormons.

There is archeological evidence that proves the Flood actually happened. They even found lumber that was thousands of years old on top of a mountain in the middle east. Lumber that had been laid in rows like in a boat.

There are also second hand accounts of many of the names mentioned in the Bible. The Bible has been proven to be accurate. The book of mormon hasn't, so why do they even want to associate with Christians?

Serious answers only please.
The Christian Religion is Fraught with so many different Denominations. While it is wonderful to be in a country in which we can worship God after our own fashion the separation of Denominations has caused a lot of friction among Christians. For example...Say a Babtist Church says they are the ONLY way and so Does the Catholic church and the methodist churh and so on and so foeth.
DO OTHER FAITHS HAVE THIS ISSUE. ARE THER"DENOMINATIONS WITHIN THE JEWISH AND ISLAM FAITH?

"Praying for a sick heart patient may feel right to people of faith, but it doesn't appear to improve the patient's health, according to a new study that is the largest ever done on the healing powers of prayer.
Indeed, researchers at the Harvard Medical School and five other U.S. medical centers found, to their bewilderment, that coronary-bypass patients who knew strangers were praying for them fared significantly worse than people who got no prayers."
On the other hand, I've seen studies that showed people who had others visit and talk (general topics) faired much better than those who had others praying for them, or those who were left alone (other than family). I've also noticed (in my own experience working in surgery) that patients tend to take more comfort in a smile than a prayer. I can hardly wait to read the answers.

I consider myself to be a Thor's man, though I've never taken a formal oath (other than my general profession of kinship and loyalty to all the Aesir and Vanir). I talked it over with Thor, and I feel perfectly justified in calling myself a Thor's man. I mean, you don't have to take an oath to your best friend to be a best friend, right?

But as far as fulltrui oaths go, what do they entail? Does anyone have any online examples? (I'm lookin' at you, Boar's Heart. :) )

Thanks for any help.
