Funny you should ask...
Basically, I try to follow the golden rule, and treat other people the way I would want to be treated myself.
Also, I help with local literacy programs, and feed the poor in my area.
Further, when I see someone who is struggling, I try to be a good friend and help them in their time of need.
I do what I can do, and try to stretch myself to do more during times when I see great need and a lack of helpers.
I hope everyone reaches out to those in need, even in smalls ways we can make a huge impact if we only extend ourselves just a bit.
God Bless!

Isn't it wrong to gloat or even talk about the good things you do? I thought that lessened the value of doing good when you tell people about it. Being a Christian isn't about feeding the poor, it is about living to serve God, He is always first! Also, having good morals every minute of everyday which is where most Christians make their initial mistake. They turn being a Christian off and on like a switch. Gossip about this person today, curse some other driver on the road out or not let them in when you have the opportunity, watch R-rated movies, etc. Sure, it is good to do good things, but I think what means more to God than anything you do for man is what you do for Him, and being a Christian 24x7.

That is an interesting question because it implies that a Christian can show the world. And it not only is true, it is in full agreement with Christ. At John 13:35 he gave the identifying mark of true Christians when he said to his followers: "By this all will know you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves." I thought it was noteworthy that he spoke of the love that followers of Christ should have among themselves. And in verse 34 he identified just what kind of love that would be.
So I try very hard to do that always - show self-sacrificing love to my Christian brothers and sisters. So, just as Jesus said, ALL will know that I am Christian.

Jesus said that the world would know His followers by their love for one another.
We reach out and help them where ever they are in the world.
Most any of the relief efforts in the world and aid to the poor are Christian or at least were in their origin.

My christian what? (You mean "you're," a contraction for "you are.")
Do you think only christians are capable of good deeds like feeding the poor?

I don't have a Christian. Honest.
As to how do I show I'm Christian: empathy. That and volunteer when somebody needs a stoning.
