"What are the dimensions of an average, sandy beach on Earth? I was lucky. I know a Coastal Geomorphologist (doesn't everyone?) who provided some estimates. Take 360,000 kilometres of coast (the total coastline of the world is about 1 million kilometres, of which about 36 percent is sandy), mix with an average beach width of 50 metres (high to low tide lines), and add a dash of average beach depth of 4 metres.
The diameters of sand grains range from about 0.1 to 2 millimetres. We'll adopt an average diameter of 0.5 millimetres. Lets stack them simply, one on top of another (not very likely in a beach I admit), so that 8000 fit into 1 cubic centimetre. Drum roll please. The total number of sand grains on our Earth beach is then 600 billion billion. But wait!, I hear some of you remarking about sand dunes and sand below the low tide mark. To placate you worriers I'm happy to increase my initial estimate by a factor of 3. That gives me a grand total of about 2000 billion billion grains of sand on Earth."
Ps. There may be more stars in the sky than sand on the Earth, this site is written regarding that.

Aside from your all-knowing crack, I have often thought about what kind of a huge number that must be.
On a side note, I have once read that it has been speculated that there is probably more stars in the universe (probably much, much, more) than grains of sand on the entire planet Earth.
Ever sit and think about that? Blows the mind.

The number of grains of sand on the earth is a transitional number-it is constantly changing.
This attempt at badgering others into belief is flawed at best.

One doesn't have to be all knowing to say there are no leprechauns, or that Zeus doesn't exist, or that there are no invisible fairies pollinating flowers. Why then does one have to be all knowing to say that the christian god doesn't exist? The answer is one doesn't.
If someone was selling a car, and said that it got 200 mpg, no one would take their word for it. People would want proof, and rightly so. The same holds true for anyone who makes a claim about a god. The burden of proof is on them.

I am not all knowing, never claimed to be. But God is all knowing, He knows how many grains of sand there are. He also knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows what you are thinking right now. He knows your heart, He knows your hurts, He loves you.

Grains of sand? How many angels can dance on a pinhead?
And speaking of pinheads...

I'm agnostic, Angel. A deity may exist or it may not, there may be many, one or none. In the end, I don't think it really matters. If it a just deity, I am not worried for I live a good life for a human. If it is not just, it is not deserving of worship in the first place.

The fact is that there is 100% reality of God's existance, but no one can be all knowing. Who created us, where did the first particle come from before Big Bang occured?
If you had mixed all the elements on the periodic table together, would you have beable to create life?
