I understand the many dieties as different expressions of god. I get the ideas of reincarnation and karma.

I don't get the general tenets or what the scriptures of Hinduism are.

I'd appreciate any input anyone can give me, Thanks.

Being a non christian (I am aTibeton Buddhist) many Christians upon finding out about me have professed their desire to convert me.. I know that they mean well and many have backed off respectfully when I told them that I am not interested but often many have after I have told them that I am Buddhist look at me in puzzlement. Why do you think they feel puzzled at me?

How do you explain President Hinkley purchasing all those alleged historical artafacts from Mark Hofmann thinking that they were legitimate? Where were his powers as a seer when they were found to be forgeries by non-LDS law enforcement?

I know that the FLDS Mormons are the ones that believe that polygamy is acceptable and some of the LDS believe like most of us that polygamy is evil but do the polygamist Mormons think that their faith is more important than the US government?

I know that polygamy existed in the Old Testament of the Bible but that was before Jesus when primitive man also practiced living sacrifices and stoning to death. None of those actions would have even been permissible during the Renaissance yet polygamy was even practiced by LDS when our great grandparents were fighting the Civil War and is practiced to this day by the FLDS.

It was and still is illegal people!

I cant see why this heresy is allowed to continue?
If you have to bomb an abortion clinic dont you also have to deface all these signs?
I read one in Hell's Canyon (on the Idaho border) saying millions of years ago these rocks were in motion.

It's scientifically untrue. It tells of more immorality than any book I can think of. (No, really. Fit in that much genocide, rape, murder and torment into another novel...)

What do you think of people of certain religions who have not read the book of their faith or have only partially read it? Do you think that it does not make them whole in their faith and if they only believe in some parts, but not all parts and say that it is only a book written by man even if it contains the words of God?

As in, gifts to people on here. I can't count how many I'd give away. I'd give a vacation to Bahamas for Pangel. A new car to I Walk Funny. Squirrel would get a trip to Europe for 2 months. Loka would not get a trip, but her own designer. Thrice would get her own cookie shop in a mall somewhere...and the list goes on.

What would you give?

I know I already asked this question but the answers were filled with "Don't do it" and "First you need to become a Catholic".

To start off: Only answer if you have useful information on how a CURRENT CATHOLIC can become a Priest.

Second: I am currently a Confirmed Roman Catholic, I have no need for information on becoming a Catholic.

Do not answer if you are trying to disuade me from becoming a Priest, or if you are trying to insult my belief system.

I have and that was on the 19th of May this year and it happed unexpectantly. I woke up at 8 am in the morning and standing on the right hand side of my bed as a very bright being that was vrey colourful unlike any colour of this earth, and he was standing over looking down at me. He had short blond hair and very tall. The experience lasted for about 5-10 seconds before he departed. I have asked God to put his angles around my bed while I sleep at night because I have been going through things in the past which I will not discuss. God has been wounderful and has answered my prayers, and I have even asked awhile ago to God if I could seen one. I have had many experinces but I will not get into it on here. The angle left me feeling calm and peacful, but I was ldft woundering who it was, now I know, as Jesus told me about tww weeks ago that he has put his angel charge over me where ever I go. In the Old Testament, women who go in public without their heads covered should be stoned to death. Jesus said that children who don't obey their parents should be stoned. Is the Bible right or are we right today for ignoring it?

Should we stone sinners to death as the Bible proclaims, or are we 'better' than that? Does that mean that the Bible is not correct if it doesn't keep up with the times, or have Christians abandonded the precepts that the Bible teaches?

One or the other must be at fault. If we don't enforce Biblical laws, we aren't Christians. Otherwise, the Bible is not an infallible set of law, and therefore, not from God. Which is it? If Biblical law is not pertinent today, then it can't be from God, can it?

Homosexuality is not a choice. People who disagree support their claims from 1950's evidence. As science and research advanced to the year 2007, There has been extraordinary amount of evidence supporting the sexual preference is determined by many psychological, physical and genetic characteristics. I also stress that homosexuality is not just one but a combination of them all.

So if you think god created humans why would he create homosexuals just to send them to hell.

O.K. is was last week ...so what? In the book of revelation it says that one of the signs of the end of the world would be that the moon would turn to blood .Well it's happened ..so is the world gonna end soon or is it just a pack of bull.I need to know if it's going to end real soon, if so I won't bother paying the bills.
