It's not God that needs the money, but the people in the church. What, are people supposed to live off of NOTHING?

Everything belongs to God so He doesn't need anything!
A tithe is only 10% which God requires Christians to give & He allows us to keep the other 90%. It's a matter of whether we will obey God or not. God doesn't use the money for Himself but it is used by His preachers & to spread the Gospel which is Good News of Gods coming Kingdom to this earth.

It is not God that needs or wants money.
Jehovah God is a spirit being and is not in want of anything, especially from his own creation.
It is man and his greed that wants money.Priests who should be out earning a living are begging and living off their congregations.- This is not a Bible teaching.Tithes were done away with along with the Mosiac Law.
Remember the account of Jesus. He had no where to even lay his head.

God doesn't need money, The money is for the spreading of the gospel, it cost MONEY to get over seas, IT cost MONEY to get food to feed the poor. It cost MONEY to pay the church building bills and renavations.

Doing all these things isn't free and it does cost money, in true christians churches, the money is not used to pay the pastors rent or car note, its for the kingdom of God.

First, God doesn't need anything from us. All that exists in this universe automatically belongs to Him because He created it.
Second; We are to be thankful unto our Creator for His gifts and mercy and display that thanks through gratitude. "God loveth a cheerful giver". If you want to give grudgingly than don't bother.
Third; Believers are to financially support their ministers of the Gospel and honour them. All of us shall be judged according to our knowledge, especially the ministers
Fourth; If you don't trust some churches then find a worthy cause -which you know God will bless- and give to that cause.
Fifth: We owe everything to our Creator. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord of lights, the Father above. Ingratitude invites divine judgement
Last; God is omniscient and omnipotent and omnipresent. After all; He created the entire universe and everything in it in 6 days

Has God ever ask you for money? He is all powerful, He doesn't need money, but people do. Do you think the government says that all Church's and Christians don't have to pay bills?

Money collected at Churches go towards a variety of things. Food pantries to name one.

What does your money go towards? Your self?

Never seen an Atheist soup kitchen yet!

** He drives a BMW? What does that prove? Only that God is blessing him for doing His will. I drive a nice car, do you think I'm getting money from my Church? No! I'm being obedient to the Word of God and He is rewarding me abundantly!

There are true christian who use money given to God for godly work. God doesn't need money, but to do most things on this earth, people need money. People chose whether they will use it to serve God or to serve their own greed. So, if anyone uses money in an unhonest way, understand that that person is not a true christian.

God does not need money....the money is only to be used to help the needy support the church and only after that is done the leftovers are to be divided among the clergy....but people are greedy....and misuse the churches money....
