Yes, it is coming. Nothing is left yet to be fulfilled before Christ returns for the children of God. I'm not sure exactly what you'd like to know, but you can e-mail me if you like. It's a rather lengthy answer.

The Rapture is a mid 20th Century Christian MYTH. The Rapture isn't Biblical doctrine. The Rapture is a more cult like myth than The Book of Mormom. The Rapture myth was devised by high up Pentecostal and other Evangelical church leaders after they had bought into the fervor of a prediction that had been made for a specific date of Christs return. The Rapture myth was created to give those who believed in the prediction something to hold on to and to strengthen their faith.

The Book of Mormon, on the other hand, was given in visions to Joseph Smith. The prophesy he received has come true and the Book of Mormon ushered it in. Mormon's have prophets to this day who look toward the next command from God.

Please, do research both sides of the Rapture doctrine before you buy into it. Best of all in your search for information

The rapture is REAL. It is going to happen soon. Many people don’t understand their bibles. The rapture is hinted at all over the bible, Old and New Testament. The purpose of the RAPTURE is to remove the Christians so the Antichrist can take over and then the world purified by FIRE.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:1

If Jesus is coming here, why many mansions? For whom? The RAPTURED!

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Rev 3:10

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isiah 26:20

Many of Jesus’s parables hint of the RAPTURE. Who is listening?

The Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah is prophetic of the RAPTURE!

Turn to REV. 4 to see what John sees the day of the RAPTURE.

Read Matthew 24 where the apostles ask Jesus when is the end. Jesus' answer is these things will happen and then the Second Coming of Jesus will be. So, the Rapture will, some believe, including myself, happen 7 years before the Second Coming of Jesus. Some of the things said in Matt 24 for the Second Coming has and is presently happening, so the Rapture is even closer. BUT, no one knows the date of the Second Coming except God. Many christians believe it is close. Just be ready and prepared for the Lord to come and get His bride (true believers). God bless

In response to your question I'm only going to recommend 1 book. Rapture: Prophecy or Heresy. I don't recall the author but I do recall the publisher guaranteeing a reward for anyone that could come up with an equal number -or greater- of Scripture verses as the author did to show that your/our ideas about a rapture are wrong. In other words, "If you think you stand, beware, lest you fall".
Also, study the Bible, everything you need to know about the end of times can be found only in there.
Last: Don't fret over this stuff. Do as you're Creator commands you to do, meditate upon and abide by the Creator's Word -The Holy Bible- and endeavour to lead as many as you can away from judgement and into life.

There are two different interpretations. One is pre-tribulation and one is post- tribulation.
The tribulation period is supposed to be 7 years long.
Some think we are going through the tribulation period now. Some believe that 2012 to 3012 is the thousand years of peace. Pre-tribulation believers think that because we are going through the end times not that we can expect a rapture any time now. Post tribulation thinkers had the idea that the tribulation will not take place until the thousand years of peace is over and Satan is unbound from hell at that time.
Jesus said to be ready, because he will come back like a thief in the night. If you know a thief was coming to your house, would you be ready for him. He said no man knows the hour I come. At any rate being ready is being a believer in the salvation of Christ and he said if you Love him to follow his words. love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. Like a good shepherd, his sheep know the master and the master will know the sheep from the goats.

What Jesus said about the rapture is:
"Where the dead are vultures gather."
That means you won't be taking your body with you.

There's a whole lot that has to happen before that happens.

Rapture...hm. Is that like when the world becomes less gray? and much more colorful, and all the evil gets washed away as if the armies of darkness was an army of gnats and God is Raid?

Yup. You'd probably better not take planes anywhere from now on just in case the flight crew are devout Christians.
