So, Genesis explains that God created man in his own image, right? I once heard that the hebrew word for "image" used in that passage was a word referring to the spiritual image, not the physical image. Meaning that humans were created to reflect God's intelligence and ability to discern right from wrong, not to reflect what God physically looks like. Does anyone know what I'm talking about...is there a source where I can find more info on this?

then divorced the women and married each other.

"For example, two big success stories of the ex-gay movement, Michael Bussee and Gary Cooper, were two of the original co-founders of Exodus International. (In the interest of total honesty, let me clarify this: Exodus says that Gary Cooper was not actually a co-founder, although he was around at the beginning of the ministry and has referred to himself as a co-founder. Michael Bussee was a co-founder.) For a long time, they toured the country, speaking at churches and telling people their stories of how they had "come out of homosexuality" and were now happily married with children. This continued until they left Exodus, divorced their wives, and married each other. "

Google them...quite an interesting story.

People may try hard to deny their God-given sexual orientation...but, they will not have peace until they accept themselves the way God made them...which is gay.

Were you born straight? If so, could you "become gay"?

Have you ever considered Satan is actually a Good guy, that was trying to save people from an unfair God? The way the Christian God is described, s/he does seem like a big unfair butt wipe.

From what I've gathered in the sundry YA R&S Q&A, it would appear that there is a strong belief that Christians are stupid, and Atheists will all burn in hell (I don't mean you said this, I mean someone else did).

Hence my question, does anyone have anything nice to say about someone else that does not share your belief system?

I'll start. Hey Jack D., you are brilliant in your Fine Arts answers, and I always enjoy reading them whether I agree with them or not.

And Kallan, you have a sweet avatar, and so many friends on YA that you must be a really nice person. Keep up the peace.

And to imacatholic2, 2584 Best Answers with a 44%, wow, you must really know your stuff, kudos on that one brother.

There now, wasn't that swell?

Serious and funny answers welcome, insults are not.

So basically the answers I got to my first question:

Other then the Bible and the writings done since it about it, what evidence is there for Jesus?

Fall into 4 responses:

1. There are none and anyone who believes in it is crazy {I took this with a grain of salt because everyone responding that way seemed a little un-edge to me}

2. There is no more lack of evidence for other historical figures so why shouldn’t I believe he is real. – This seems like a silly argument to me. First you cannot prove 1 things existence by pointing out the lack of evidence for some other thing. Second even if this was a valid argument, no one I have heard of is running around telling people they are going to burn in hell if they do not believe in George Washington. Since Christians make the claim that you must believe in Jesus or you are going to hell, then it is their responsibility to prove his existence in my mind.

3. Some evidence exists outside the Bible and that evidence is controversial. Th

Christian: God, I'm trying to convert people like you said, but it's hard. Can't you offer me at least one piece of objective evidence?
God: I did. The universe.
Christian: But, they say that doesn't count. They say that that is no proof that God created it.
God: Then who created it?
Christian: I don't know, I guess they just think it always existed.
(God laughs)
Christian: Seriously God, what am I supposed to do? There are tons of problems in the world, and I don't think science can fix all of them. What should I do?
God: Love.
Christian: Good point.

Okay, that wasn't that funny. i'll try harder this time:

Christian: God, allow me to smite the sinners.
(God raises an eyebrow)
Christian: Fine if you won't help me, Jesus will. Come on B*tch.
Jesus: *sigh*

Replace “Matrix” w/ “religion”.

Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Neo: I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders.
