The key word is Christian. If you are truely a Christian then it is easy to find the correct Christian for your mate because you will let God make the choice for you. I was showed my wife in a dream 8 months before I met her. We have been happily married for 19 years with no trouble in our marriage because we put God first.

I think so. At a Protestant church, at lot of people have very different ideas about how, and when, it is appropriate for a guy to approach a girl and ask her out (probably because different people have read different books on the subject). Some women act really weird when a guy approaches her at church and asks her out for a movie or a cup of coffee; some of these women will spread mean rumors, or run to the pastor and complain in an attempt to make trouble. I realize that a church is not a singles bar, but how do some people expect to get married if they never speak to anyone of the opposite sex? If not at church, then where? You don't meet too many devout religious people at the club or bar.
Of course, asking women out is going to be an emotional minefield anyway, because you never know how someone will react, but some religious people have been given goofy ideas about courtship from their grandma, or something, that doesn't work in this day and age.

Yes, not as many options. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Because we truly understand what dating should be, and are more selective in our choices, our relationships are more successful. The statistics prove it.

no because if God wants you to date him then you know he's the one for you and its not an accident. And if God wants it to happen it will. It's like having a relationship with someone watching over it and making sure everything goes smoothly.

probably...my brother divorced his wife because she was not "religious enough".
She only went to church on Sunday mornings...
My brother is one that goes to alll 4 services on Sunday, then Wednesday and Thursday nights as well...in addition to any extra activities going on.
He did not think she was a "true Christian" and justified divorcing her for that reason...kinda sad.
But, that's the reason I think you should make sure that you understand your dates religious background, beliefs, and practices, and their dedicatioin to those beliefs, etc...
