...with them or challenges them on their beliefs. And why do they not call what they do "witnessing" when it is really just threats of what their god is gonna do if you don't agree with them?

I laugh at the way Creationists support their "theory." They basically put in huge amounts of time and effort into discrediting scientists in an attempt to make scientists look like fools (which they are not). Then they turn around and use the discoveries of the scientists they are trying to discredit to support their own "theories." How about making you own discoveries for once instead of selfishly using their discoveries to support your "theories" and then trash talking them after they give you their discoveries?

They keep justifying what they are addicted to (like masturbation). They refuse to see the truth. They are just so arrogant towards their own worldly views. They make up their own standards, and morals. They call me ignorant. They say c'mon there can't be one truth. But there is only one truth. Just because there are a lot of false religions out there. Does that mean they should just live for the world. The sad thing about these people is that they think if they are just good people. What exactly is that anyways? They are fall short. They don't deserve to be saved. Somehow they believe everything will just work out, and that God will see their wordly deeds to be good enough.

When Jesus was asked what we must do to go to heaven, he said, "you must be born again". (spiritually, not physically) So to be a Christian, it is implied that you are born again. So whats up with the term "born again Christian"? It's being redundant.

It seems to me that most of these atheist vs. Christian debates are straw man arguments. Pick a few crazy radicals out from either side and attack them as being representative of the entire group. Any thoughts?

So people are saying that marriage is not a government thing because marriage was invented in the Bible?

Why, then, did Native Americans, the Chinese, Indians (from India) and many other cutlures performing marriage ceremonies before ever hearing about the Bible?

And what about the Ancient Egyptians and other ancient cultures that were marrying well before the bible was even written?

I've noticed that different denominations complain that other denominations have a less accurate translation.

I'd love to see some passionate people tell me why one particular translation is the best, & why! Thanks!

Can you really bat both ways on this? Slavery was once the law of the land, state-sanctioned racisim was once the law of the land, and now wholesale genocide is the law of the land.

Do you really believe that because the "law" make something legal/illegal, this is the moral compass in which to make a logical decision? Or is mob-mentality the only solution?

Your thoughts, please.

And please don't go there with the coat-hangers, etc. Roughly 50 million American(s), or 1 in six people in society simply do not exist since 1973, and the number of deaths in the previous 100 years due to botched abortions(another "choice") don't even come close to those numbers.

Ok the one thing i dont get is why do the religious think they are better than the other? i mean wars have started because they think they are better than others. people die over these issues! why is it that there way to the answer is right and everyone else's is wrong? Why cant here be more than one answer? why cant there be more than one god? why cant there be no god? why cant the bible be wrong? why is it that we have closed our doors to all outside advice and pulled the sheep's woll over our own eyes? i know its comforting but if god gave us a brain to think with then why dont we think for ourselves?

In my informal empirical study conducted each weekday day in a major downtown area, they seem to take the latter choice every time.

Being that Jesus himself was a homeless person, what can we make of this (if anything)?

Does this imply that he was her sister?
Ancient Egyptian royalty married their sisters to continue their bloodline. And obviously the sons of Adam and Eve had to have relations with their sisters...
Just an observation.

Man!!! some good questions were reported, so were my answers! It surprised me a bit cos' the Yahoo God is kinda slow in removing posts... (in cases where I've reported some real and genuine errant users, their posts are still not removed---yet!)...

How should we please the Yahoo Gods and hope that they won't entertain abusers and be abusers themselves (so they won't contradict themselves?)?

I feel his drain of energy my friend has on me. He's negativity and just lack of knowledge really sucks me dry. I can't talk to him about God. Without him trying to insult him. He's a guy that believes in pagan witchcraft stuff like divination. He believes in astrology signs, and taret cards. He doesn't live a moral life and won't change. I'm feeling he's unintentionally trying to ensnare me into his world of sin.

Question: Why do some atheists feel the need to answer ANY question by a Christian with, 'God doesn't exist'
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoTm4_.nDkcbuxlRCIbXlRcjzKIX?qid=20070619042650AAhmTLJ

My Deleted Answer: True dat.

Why not have the asker reported? But you report me for agreeing? The statement was true. Or do Atheists only care about truth when it suits them? Was my answer really so offensive to you? Wow. That's all I can say.

i mean, i know it's easy to make fun of them with their "mythological logic" but shouldn't we at least try to be nice to them when they post questions like

Evolutionists: What about the the Law of Conservation of Angular Momentum?

at least they're trying to use science, even if they don't understand it.

(and i'm not referring to the christians who have intelligent Q & A's)

what do you say, can you try to be nicer?
