Message: Wtf does it mean when you say you see god all around you. You CHOOSE to see god all around you. Those of us that are more analytical and choose to use our frontal lobes dismiss overly simplistic answers and seek the truth, even though it requires more effort and (gasp!) living with not knowing for a while.

Please, use the brain (you think god, but actually) evolution gave you.

Do you think that God does not want us to wear makeup and jewelry? Do you think that it constitutes vanity? If so, where to draw the line? Is a little acceptable, or does any article that does not serve a practical purpose only serve for vanity? What do you think of piercings (besides ears) and tatoos? Are they appropriate for Christians?

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

Jesus died on the cross so that we may be saved. From the beging of the earth, the first man Adam and woman Eve was not of sin, thats until they ate the fobiden fruit that God told them not to. Satan tempted them to eat the fruit and God was very angry, therefore now death was born and told Adam Eve to leave the garden of eden. And because how satan told Adam, Eve that they can be like God if you eat the fruit that was fobidden now people think they are the only ones here. And humans rule which is wrong God is above all.

I committed a minor sin its kind of embarrassing, but anyways yesterday God helped me out when I was struggling and I truly believe that it was him that made it happen. I really like this girl a lot and she was leaving today for national guard basic training and I was really depressed because I like her a lot and I didn't think I would get to see her before she left. The whole day yesterday I was just sad and felt really bad because I wanted to see her one last time before she left. A couple of hours later she calls me and we end up hanging out for a couple of hours!:). I was extremely grateful and excited. However today I committed a sin in which I told god I would not do if she called me. I'm now afraid despite asking for forgiveness that I might not see her again as a form of punishment from god. Its was only a minor sin I think (masturbating) do you think he will punish me with not being able to see her when she gets back? I'm kind of worried and I feel terrible about what I did!

When a young kid is scared, they want nothing more than to cuddle there teddy bear because it makes their fears go away by comforting them.

when a kids upset they want to cuddle their teddy bear because it makes them happier?,

God is a Teddy Bear to lots of people...... When your scared, you want god to be there to make you fears go away....
when your upset you want god to be there to make you happy again?!

But some people keep their teddie's for a long time, but others throw them away because they no longer need it because they have others to comfort them.......

yeah, i've looked at artwork and such and even drew a little my self. not the point, I've also seen pages about "god hates such" with no revelinse to the bible. so To be put short, does god really hate that? If so, I will drop the subject and burn my artwork in an instant.

Have you ever played "telephone" (also refered to as Chinese Whispers)? When played in a classroom environment, one person comes up with a short phrase or very short story, then whispers it into the ear of the person next to them. The story or phrase continues around the class until it reaches the last person, who speaks what they "heard" out loud. Everyone laughs because the finished version is always way different than how it started. It only takes a class of less than thirty people to distort what was originally said.

Now take the Bible. This book has been translated countless times over centuries. There are over 2,000 Christian sects that interpret the Bible differently. There are many people who do not even read the Bible and choose to interpret it on a personal level.

If one short phrase told in a small classroom can be warped in the span of fifteen minutes, how can the original meaning of the Bible have survived? How can it possibly be accurate?

but, could that mean, having faith and believing that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior? Does it say anywhere in the Bible that there will be one Religion? ..I know it says you will reconize them by there fruits..but there again...that doesn't mean its one group of people..
( I wasn't going to ask any more questions because I kept getting confused..but a man on here helped me to see things in the right way..)
