yeah, i've looked at artwork and such and even drew a little my self. not the point, I've also seen pages about "god hates such" with no revelinse to the bible. so To be put short, does god really hate that? If so, I will drop the subject and burn my artwork in an instant.

do you know what anthropomorphism means? not only does it means making a cat look human in forms of art, but it includes us talking to our cats and thinking they have human understanding and emotion.
but anthropomorphism (changing into human) is the wrong term
your looking for Deuspomorphism (changing into god)
anthropomorphism doesn't pertain to the bible.
pagans used animals or animal human hybrids in their sculptures to REPRESENT their gods. thats one reason why the Christians did not like them.

is the cat your drawing considered a god?
do you consider god god and the only god, not any other "gods"?
do you consider yourself a god?
if you can answer to these then you will understand.
I think anthropomorphism is wrong, a simple human flaw. Humans have a huge desire to consider everything is like themselves are centers around them, but I hate to break it to people.
animals are animals. humans are humans. between the two, needs, desires, and emotions are very very different.
Same can go for the connection we make between us and god.
humans, being so self centered think that god is like us too or we are like god. but we're wrong.

we break the "1st-2nd" commandments when we say we where created in his image. --- scary how the bible contradicts itself huh?
yes. Catholics break this as well with saints and their statues, or pendants
and I'm sorry to say but because of these inconsistencies and others, I question the Faith
don't depend on other to tell you whats right or wrong. your doing that deuspomorphism thing again. Just listen to your Heart, oh no that sounds pretty deuspomorphismic too.

Depends on who you ask. Muslims would say yes, definitely. Catholics would say no, definitely not.
