This is an e-mail I recieved from your so called kind and intelligent atheists on Yahoo Answers:
Hello Pikabo. W (pikaboward),

You have received a message from another user!

From: 40oz2freedom

Subject: u r deluded....

Message: Wtf does it mean when you say you see god all around you. You CHOOSE to see god all around you. Those of us that are more analytical and choose to use our frontal lobes dismiss overly simplistic answers and seek the truth, even though it requires more effort and (gasp!) living with not knowing for a while.

Please, use the brain (you think god, but actually) evolution gave you.

Non-believer was not meant as an insult, just a way to express a wide range of non-Christians.

I find it interesting that Atheists, Pagans, etc. conclude that the fact that someone adheres to an Abrahamic faith automatically means that they are scared, non-thinking, sheep-like morons. Have you met every Christian in the world? Then how would you know what they ALL believe or how they all live their lives?

If you want people to respect your beliefs wouldn't it be a good idea if your respected theirs as well. Seriously do you think calling someone an idiot and cursing at them is going to change their minds? Not really any more effective than some overzealous Evangelical telling you how evil, deluded, lost and misguided they think you are is it? So why do it, especially if you hate people doing it to you?

one word... faith.

faith (n.) Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. See synonyms at belief See synonyms at trust

Faith makes a lot of sense. You just have to use the brain that God gave you and look up FAITH in a dictionary. I don't need LOGICAL PROOF or MATERIAL EVIDENCE to believe in God. Now I understand what you may feel about faith. It has the potential to take a person out of their "comfort zone". I only have one question for you. Do you ride in planes, trains or automobiles? If you do (which i can almost guarantee) don't you put your faith in them? Don't you TRUST and BELIEVE that they won't break down and crash? Do you have FAITH in them to get you safely where you are going? I put that same faith in God. Use your frontal lobes and have a little faith.

Have a nice day too! :)

Depending on the opinion expressed, speaking one's mind can be necessarily painful to the listener (hence the saying that "the truth hurts"). However, you're right, there's no excuse for bad manners. On here, it's very easy to make fun of the opinions of others simply because you consider them to be ill-founded. It's much easier to insult the person than to comment on the belief. I will endeavor to do better myself.

I'm a firm believe in god, because I believe what I've been shown. Don't allow someone of a select group to make you feel disgusted with a whole group, it's just like people hating the Muslims because of a few select bigots and racists. Frankly, I think there are many inteligent aethiests, so don't let your judgement be based on just one.

this is okay to this component him. in accordance on your perception equipment, you may desire to to maintain the nookie out of the image, yet you could spend time with him and debate with him approximately whether or no longer Jesus develop into particularly a prophet, or basically a clever dude, who had to insurrection against the Romans. Who knows? once you're style and compassionate, he might come around on your line of questioning, and beg forgiveness for desirous to, and questioning approximately, ripping your clothing off in Sabine style. maybe you will finally end up interior the fortuitously ever after picturesque scene. or you ought to no longer, and you may convert him to the dark side, yet be irritating no longer. in case you do no longer provide up something which you think of might intervene including your passage to Heaven, whether it ends badly, it is not something to be apologetic approximately.

It's very rude. And rudeness is not intelligent.

40oz2freedom needs to read up on his atheistic writings. He'll find that science has good hypotheses for why people are religious, and that it in fact means that you *are* using your brain--just not in the way that 40oz would like you to.

A little crude, most likely a young and fervent atheist. Most of the ideas, none of the finesse.

So, one guy writes you, and speaks the truth (although in a harsh manner) - and that makes ALL Atheists and non-believers evil people?

Shall I send to you the NUMEROUS amounts of hate mail Ive received from your brethren?? Does that mean ALL believers are evil?

It is also hysterically funny that you cant seem to copy and paste without including infor that no one needs....namely, the body of that email telling you how to reply!
