When a young kid is scared, they want nothing more than to cuddle there teddy bear because it makes their fears go away by comforting them.
when a kids upset they want to cuddle their teddy bear because it makes them happier?,
God is a Teddy Bear to lots of people...... When your scared, you want god to be there to make you fears go away....
when your upset you want god to be there to make you happy again?!
But some people keep their teddie's for a long time, but others throw them away because they no longer need it because they have others to comfort them.......

That is what God is to a lot of people. But the gospel says that God is the creator of the universe and that he came down to earth in the form of a man to save man from his sin. Jesus Christ is our savior, washing our sin away by his blood. He is friend to those who turn to him with their whole heart, repenting of sin and receiving the love of the truth.

Okay, the movie about the doll Chucky freaked me out... a killer doll. If God is a "teddy bear" you're making a bad name for teddy bears and freaking me out again.

a lot of things about xtians seem childish.
only children and those with child-like mentalities:
- believe in imaginary things---santa, toothfairy, etc.
- have imaginary friends
- have the simplistic view that you have to do things to avoid punishment and/or get a reward. for example, children are taught that if you should listen to what mommy or daddy says otherwise you will get a time out and if you're good you'll get extra dessert.
ask a xtian anything and you'll get something similar to this :
"father says that i should blah blah blah so that i can go to heaven otherwise i will go to hell."

i think of we've been created after his likeness. i think of like a stable father, he's able to love us, cuddle us, and make us experience secure and at peace. even with the undeniable fact that basically like a stable father, as quickly as we disobey and act out rebelliously, a loving father punishes those he loves.
