To reveal biblical news worthy events that are happening in the world, giving us insight how prophecy from scripture is being foretold, in our daily exsistence?..It's funny but I read comments from a few posters that do not want to know one issue that is being broadcast from a news organization here with a question about it? Why is that? because then they can say well Ah, Ah Ah, can't answer because you found that on a news site and posted. Do people know how many news articles are on the net, worthy of knowing and discusssing because you will not hear of it on Main Stream News....

If Jesus was on his way CNN will never tell you, because you will only know from a Google Search! OKAY- (Just kidding) well you know what I mean...

but western society is so dangerous. Then every muslim answers agreeing with them and they pat each other on the back for being so wonderful. While I watched a mother cut her sons head to make it bleed at a religious festival. Men beat there selves with chains to please God and strap on bombs to blow up fellow citizens. What do you hope to accompolish?
that everyone in the USA is going to say because you print a bunch of crap that oh Yes, I see the light now and muslims are nice? I mean who is suposed to be fooled by your questions?
I would really like to know what you hope to accompolish?
Do you think this is our only medium of getting the news?

have a REAL 1611 King James Bible???
Chances are you don't. The version you have is a revision, to the revision, to the revision. It doesn't make it wrong. They just simply updated the style of English. You can buy a unedited, unrevised 1611 version but you probably won't be able to understand but 65-70% of it. I just looked at one in a Bible book store yesterday.

One thing that I learned by going to Church is that God has his reasons for everything. When people pray for safety and health, yeah its nice, but God is going to do what he wants right? So when you pray for things like "heal my friend", aren't you trying to play God by telling Him what to do?

I know that when I pray, I alway pray for God to lead me in the right direction, or to ask him to let me know how to help people get through things. I just think that when somthing happens, it happens because God wanted it to.

I had a long term family friend that had died of cancer, who was a baptist. She didn't want people praying for her health because she said it was God's will. I know that people feel resentment towards God for things like this, but I figure that God might need the person in Heaven.

What is truely is a better gift, life on Earth, or an eternal life in Heaven with God?

the fact that he was so humble?

Being humble means knowing your limits in the knowledge that there is something greater than yourself.

Whats greater than God?

Some say that Jesus' prophecy about famines has already been fullfilled. Look at Africa and Asia, they say. But could it come to us as well?

the ten commandments state that we should not have any gods before Him, that we should not make graven images and pray to them and it also sais that we should not worship and pray to any other images that are made by man. so why to the catholics pray to dead people and why do they give special places to other dead people. ie, the saints. the bible sais that all who choose to follow God are called saints. i am not knocking people, just a religion. if you take offence to this, i sincerely ask your forgiveness.

I hear so many people on here who claim they are Christian and go crazy trying to convince others that their religion is the true religion, force their God on money and in public schools, and into the Pledge of Allegience.

Well, what is with all the noise? Isn't faith how you show yourself to be true to your "god?" What are you afraid of? What is with the self righteousness?

You see, Coca Cola and Pepsi spend millions of dollars trying to convince us that they are different than one another.

Is that what you are doing? Trying to convince others that you really exist and are any different than other religion.

Or is the reality that you are all the same and you drum up fear, hatred and war, just to convert others?

Lion's Gate is where 40 years ago the Israeli soldiers broke through to recapture the city. Today, there is a new battle raging for Jerusalem. But it's not being fought with soldiers and tanks.

For most Arab Muslims, the loss of Jerusalem was a tragedy. And when they lost on the battlefield.

Today, some Israeli Arabs such as sheik Raed Salah demand that Muslims take back Jerusalem, by force if necessary.

But most Israeli leaders promise to keep Jerusalem undivided and under the flag of Israel.
Lambert believes that in light of prophecy, Israel's retaking of Jerusalem was a major event.

"Forty years is generally accepted as a biblical generation. We have had 40 years and Jerusalem is still in the hands of the Jewish people," Lambert said. "Now there's going to be an enormous battle and conflict and strife over this and the prophet Zechariah says it. He says all nations will come against Israel, so what does that mean for you?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as the vast majority of the Bible and other religious works cannot be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt--and are therefore opinions-- then wouldn't most of our questions be considered chatting?

If that's the case, then who decides what is worthy of remaining in the forum, and what is to be deleted?

I feel that only the obscene or disrespectful posts should be removed, but I wouldn't object to no deletions at all.

After all, some people would be offended by wishes for a great day. So who decides?

the only reason people are good is because they get a reward of going to haeven. And if that was not enough to make them "good", if you are "bad", there is a threat of punishment, to burn in eternal hell. Does this mean that humans, without the threat of going to hell would not be good? Is being good only for selfish reasons, to later get a reward and go to heaven?? Isnt it a bit ridiculous that it takes "God" to promiss such things just for us to be good? Does that mean that if "God" did not promis people a reward for good and a punishment for bad, all believers would be murderers and horrible people?

It seems to me, that nowadays religion among the Hollywood crowd, has become less about what it can do for you spiritually and more about what it can do for you in your career and social life. I see more and more "players" in the Hollywood scene "jumping on bandwagons" simply because another celebrity with a higher status is doing it. I am not trying to single out Scientology, but this IS the one that I am thinking of. What is your opinion?

You have to have a priest to say mass and you will go to hell if you don't go to mass. Job insurance? or a real calling from God? What is the right answer? Why can't a lay person say mass? Why can't a mother priest?
