Did you choose to be heterosexual, or did you find that you were naturally attracted to the opposite sex.

The sentence is faulty and clearly meant as an insult towards atheists. But I was wondering how theists feel about it.

"No atheists in foxholes" means that an atheist will turn to God in times of desperate needs. If I believed in God, and my belief system was brought down to nothing more than a "desperate act of desperate people" I would be highly insulted.

So, is "no atheist in foxholes" a bigger insult to atheism or to theism?

Page 67 of the LDS Church manual Gospel Fundamentals it states, "Our Father in heaven does not sin, and He does not allow people who sin to live with Him. To live with Him we must repent of our sins. To repent means to feel sorry for our sins and stop doing them." Have you stopped sinning? If not, how can you be sure you will live eternally with Heavenly Father? If the above statement is true, doesn't the fact you continually repent, prove you are not truly repentant; after all, people who stop sinning have no need to repent.

Jewish adviser becomes Bush chief of staff
by Matthew E. Berger
JTA News and Features

".. Josh Bolten became a member of President George W. Bush's Cabinet in the summer of 2003, he was asked to lead the president and the Cabinet in prayer while the Christians clean the toilets. He chose to pray in Hebrew, a sign of his strong Jewish identity.

Bolton the Jew succeeds Andrew Card. The move comes amid Fox News calling Bush an Idiot.

Before this, he served as director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, advising Bush that loan to Israel should be Chrismas gift..."

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also". James 2:26
What does THIS mean? In other words: How does T-H-I-S statement tie in with the "faith only" doctrine.
Christians believe that the Word of God does NOT contradict itself. Certainly I do. Then how does THIS Word of God coincide with "faith only"?

OK - let's try this again since I didn't get nearly the answers I was looking for: In Proverbs 13:20 the KJV Bible says: He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: Beside rejecting God what OTHER characteristics tell me that I'm dealing with a fool? I'm looking for a list no just one thing.

FOOL appears 73 times
FOOLS appers 42 times
FOOLISH appers 52 times

All General Authorities serving the LDS Church in Salt Lake City are offered a living allowance for their full-time service. While it is true that those who minister in the LDS Church on a local level (such as the bishop) are not remunerated, Doctrine and Covenants 42:71-73 says they should be.

" 71 And the elders or high priests who are appointed to assist the bishop as counselors in all things, are to have their families asupported out of the property which is bconsecrated to the bishop, for the good of the poor, and for other purposes, as before mentioned;
72 Or they are to receive a just remuneration for all their services, either a stewardship or otherwise, as may be thought best or decided by the counselors and bishop.
73 And the bishop, also, shall receive his support, or a just remuneration for all his services in the church. "

Just another inconsistency in Mormon speak.

It was a silly mistake I was led into by various movies in the 80's and people using trickery to have the devil tempt me into something that is very bad for me. I didn't use the pictures, but instead was drug into sin with firewater and lack of the bible.

It's wrong! Every time I relapsed, I allowed the Lord to hold me and take me in! Why aren't you doing this too? It's biblical.

There are countless stories of evil in the news everyday. Mutants harming little children and raping and killing the innocent. Yet God allows these acts to happen. And when the mutant whom committed this act is caught, some say they should only be inprisnoned. I say eradicate this inhuman mutant so he can meet his maker and be judge accordingly. So until Gods eridicates the evil from this world, I will do what ever I deem necessary to protect my family and the people around me.

For those who are against Christianity, don't you agree that it is just like racism and stereotyping when you treat us as as a group instead of individually?

I am basing this question on many of the mean spirited "group mentality" comments that Christians get when they post.

As I write and watch the news, I see more innocent people starving now than ever before in the world. Why does Jesus' death appear to change nothing? Shouldn't evil have been less at least on the day He died? Maybe the day after? Why did the redemption change nothing and nobody?

Do you think GOD thinks in time like we do? do you know how GOD measures a minute a day a hour a week or a year?

Evolution can only measure time in what they know to be equivalent to 1 year 365 days, Many Calendars have exsisted so 6 million years ago to you might be 6 thousand years ago to GOD..
The Book of Genesis does not refer to the Calendar we now use and Daniels 70 weeks speaks about measuring time which is not how normally we understand time.
How can you say human beings did not exsist 60 million years ago, when you don't understand GOD's time?

If a God existed why wouldn't he create and update the bible to make things clearer. An update occured with the New Testament so why wouldn't he update it further still. And why did God stop doing all the supernatural stuff he did throughout the bible. Could it be because science would expose the truth?

Are the Masters of all religions Masters of their destiny? Were Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Guru Nanak Masters of their own destiny? Did Jesus write the crucification in his own destiny? Or did he forsee it? If they were Masters of their own destiny why is it not possible that even today we have people on this planet who are Masters of their own destiny? Is it necessary that all Masters of their destiny should be famous like these Masters? Is it not possible that even today there are Masters who remain incognito by their own choice? After all Man has constantly been evolving and becoming wiser by learning from the mistakes of his predecessors. Is it not possible that after witnessing that even the crucification of Christ did not help in the salvation of mankind enmass (which was probably the reason that Christ chose to be crucified) and also the persecution of many other Masters that Masters have in recent times by and large preferred to remain incognito.

For example, bonobo adults will often have sex with juveniles and even infants. So, how do you deny that being pedosexual is a natural occurrence in nature? Should we be witnessing to the pedosexual bonobo, then? LOL
