If a God existed why wouldn't he create and update the bible to make things clearer. An update occured with the New Testament so why wouldn't he update it further still. And why did God stop doing all the supernatural stuff he did throughout the bible. Could it be because science would expose the truth?

What has changed since Christ was here? We have toilets for one thing. You had better study the bible a little more closely

God's word does not change and he gave us all the prophecy he wanted us to have. If he "reviewed" the bible then he would be changing his word in a way. If he made things clearer or more obvious then we could not have faith because faith is believing without seeing/touching/knowing. It is through our faith we become better as being still and listening to God. He did not stop doing all the supernatural stuff, scientists have now tried to take credit for things and pass things with scientific explanations. We put him in a box. There is not very much room to create miracles when inside a box. We try and conform God to our desires and expectations. We limit our blessings and rewards when we do this. Even if he did write another testament people would dismiss it like the other 2 he has given us. Look at the miracles Jesus performed and how the people treated him when they saw it for their own eyes. People are not going to accept things they are not ready to accept. just to be honest. At some point we have to be content with what he has given us and thank him daily for our lives and loved ones. I have been blessed many times simply because of having faith!!

Actually, miracles were rare even in Biblical times. It appears that God did miracles only when he had something new to say (prophets performed miracles to prove that they were really sent by God). Updates to the Bible were not given that frequently, so miracles were rare also as a result.
Why not a newer new testament? Apparently God said everything that he needed to say already.

God doesn't "update" the Bible because their is nothing to update. His word is forever settled in the heavens and He does not change.
God has not stopped performing miracles. The church is just not were it used to be. The majority of Christians are not even truly saved. They are just Christians. If America would pray through and get full of the Holy Ghost like that old church did in Acts God would do a mighty work. He has not changed, it's us that have.

First of all, God did not create the bible and he/she hasn't personally "updated" the New Testament. As for "supernatural stuff" I believe they are called miracles and are still happening.

The New Testament update still didn't include science. The newest update (scheduled to be released in 8 years) will be completely up to date, and include science. God will also throw in some stuff on Global Warming, Evolution, and his votes for American Idol.

I don't believe that God wrote the Bible, humans did. Not only did they write it, they compiled it, edited it, and translated it. It is composed of mans interpretations of Gods Laws.
In truth, we can find our guidance, by asking God. This is what Jesus was teaching. Our relationship with God is internal, and we don't need the external to develope our understanding of God.
This is not to say the writings of the Bible are not valuable, they are, when guided by Gods understanding. Other writings are valuable as well, and also movies, and music. God can give you the message in a variety of ways......the requirement is that your mind is open, and ready to understand. And, that your ego is in check.......

No, it's because the OT and NT already contain all that is necessary for someone to come to a saving faith.
