You misunderstand - There is no "GOD" and thus no 'God's time table' and no 'God's time' for us to "understand.".
I don't give a rat's hinterteil about your particular "God." ... The world has been here for ~4,550,000,000 years - "God" for ~2,000. ... World trumps "God." ... And humanity as it is today - H. sapiens sapiens has existed for ~130,000 years.

Days and years are objective measurements. You can't just say that a day to God is a million years or whatever, because that makes absolutely no sense.
Imagine if I had decided, just for a laugh, that I would use the word 'day' instead of 'million years'. If you were unaware of this, and I told you something that happened a million years ago actually happened 'a day' ago, I would by lying. There's no other way to look at it, I would be deliberately misleading you.
That gives you three choices. Either God created everything in six days, or God deliberately lied about creating everything in six days, or God doesn't exist. And there is a huge quantity of irrefutable evidence against the first of those possibilities.

Well, because the bible specifies.. "and the evening and the morning were the first day (second day, third day)" etc...
We know from science, that the earth's rotation has slowed somewhat (not speeded up) so, the days were slightly shorter then.. therefore, because the evening and the morning were the (#) day.. it was a literal 6 days..
If the earth was that slow in rotation, no vegetation could grow, no life could exist.. it's a nice try on your part, but it just doesn't work, no matter how you slice it.

omg, time is based on the revolution of earth around the sun. It takes the earth 365 days to go around the sun, thats what we call a year, if you were on mars then you would have a completely different measurement of time. We base our time measurements on our planet and our sun, nothing else, there are no assumptions in our time measurements. Whereas the bible is just one big assumption so I guess it depends on what you put more importance on, made up stories, or the observations of our universe.

A breath to God is like a thousand years to man. I try not to get too involved in how long we have been around... long enough to begin to see how much time we waste-not to say that your question is a waste of time... only that, in the scheme of things, I am much more concerned with today and tomorrow than I am yesterday (other than not repeating it lol).
We really do not know and have no way of knowing... yet.

The description of "day" is specific. "The morning and the evening were the first day..." etc.
It doesn't explain how there could be a morning and evening without the sun, which was not created until the fourth day.
I will take science over mythology any time.

So parts of the bible are metaphoric? And what makes you think you know Gods mind about what created means, then? did he use evolution?
If so, what are you arguing about? To us its a mater of objective evidence. For you, a mater of fitting that evidence to not contradict your faith. Just don't try to put dinosaurs in the Bronze Age when your about it!.

So explain it to us. Exactly what is a 'week""day"'Month""year" in God time. You say we don't understand. That implies you do. So,how long is a "god minute"?

Don't you want to even try and learn? It seems so submissive to just accept and not even attempt to learn anything.
Why would God give us a thirst for knowledge like he did, then make so many things pertaining to him completely unfathomable? Isn't that like dangling a carrot in front of a horse?
mmm carrots...

You really have to stretch to make the Bible literal, and kudos for trying. but have you looked into what we really know about time, it's quite fascinating, I'll be right back with some links.
