Here's a scary thought for you...Sin is sin. One is not greater than another. If you steal a candy bar or steal a car it is still theft. If you harm a child verbally or commit a heinous act then it's still the same. We will all stand before Christ and give an account of our life.
God has never failed me. He said we'd have trial and tribulations. He has always been there for me. My best friend died of cancer at age 32 last year. Did God fail her? No, He was with her the whole time. Why did she die? I don't know. We live in an imperfect world.
I believe that if you are so vile that you commit a heinous act against a child or adult such as murder, then you must suffer the consequences of your choice. That is what is wrong with our society. This feel good mentality. Parents aren't teaching their children about consequences. A child gets kicked out of school and the parents sue. A child goes to jail and the judge let's them out. It's sick. We are growing our own "terrorists".

two wrongs don't make a right. Killing a killer is still murder. You have to live with your soul. Try contemplating another way of looking at it, such as tryng to understand how that person got so damaged to do the horrible things they did. Most people who muder were terribly abused in their lives, often by a relative. Often they were tortured both mentally and physically. Understanding is always the only salvation for anyone.

Certainly, you do what you can to PROTECT your loved ones. Vengeance, however, is not your prerogative ... you will do no further good to your family sitting in a jail cell for the assault or murder of (as you term it) some "mutant" ; or, dead, having been killed yourself for over-rating your own abilities.
This is why capital punishment was instituted by God.
"Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man." [Genesis 9:6]
This is why capital punishment was ordered by God, for every society that claimed to honour him. The fact that God-fearing society is a thing long since gone, however, means that you cannot expect justice any longer.
Exodus 21:12; Leviticus 24:17; Numbers 35:9ff; Deuteronomy 21:1ff
Evil exists in this world, because men abandon - or even defy - the order that God has established for any society.
Capital punishment was instituted to protect the innocent and the weak; from the vicious and the strong.
"Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."
When governments refuse to follow the rules that God has laid down, the consequences are obvious.
But vengeance is still not yours to carry out.
"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
Yours sincerely,
Philip Livingstone

1) Those "mutants" were created in the image of God just as much as you were.
2) While you're eliminating evil, shouldn't you eliminate your own first?
3) Who are you to say who is beyond redemption and who isn't?

It is not your or any other person's decision on who lives or dies. It's one thing to defend yourself but you are talking about death as punishment. These are two different things. Don't try to justify premeditated murder as "self-defense."
