Particularly in light of the fact that most atheists are former Christians themselves.

Wouldn't experiencing both sides of the argument make someone anything BUT closed-minded?

17 And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And upon my servants indeed, and upon my handmaids will I pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.

First I think most everyone has had the opportunity to hear the Gospels and make a decision to believe in GOD or deny his exsistence, no argument your destiny is your business and as Jesus said when they mock walk away..

My Beef is why The GOD deniers are trying to change the American Way of Life, that has ALWAYS included GOD If Americans think Europe is so Groovy then why not move there?
Most everyone on this site has grown up if you lived in America all your life, with no problems having an America that embraces right from wrong and GOD as the center. When retail stores are afraid to say Merry Christmas and Chaplains are being fired for saying Jesus and the 10 Commandments are being removed from the Public Square we have a PROBLEM.

The greatest GENERATION (WW2) is almost gone which is my parents only Mom left now and we have some in leadership Aging hippies that should of known that GOD could reedem the world not all the drugs they used.

Who will help the USA?

meets THEIR specifications in order for them to acknowledge Him?

The people in Moses day tried to test God. They wanted a sign. They tempted God by telling Moses to give them water from solid rocks in the desert.

Exodus 17:1-6
The whole Israelite community set out from the Desert of Sin, traveling from place to place as the LORD commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. So they quarreled with Moses and said, "Give us water to drink."
Moses replied, "Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the LORD to the test?"
But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, "Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?"
Then Moses cried out to the LORD, "What am I to do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me."

Well when I was younger, my family attended Pentacostal (sp) churches. I really disliked and did not believe half the things that the pastor/bishops spoke of. I did not like the goings on in the church especially that of speaking in tongues as I thought it was disruptive and --sometimes fake (sorry to say that). Once the pastor even told one of the church goers "Thats enough" and told her to sit down. The fainting (so called being filled with the holy spirit) really made me want to leave the Church. I am no longer a pentacostal, but I still believe in God. I don't know about the whole Trinity (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) issue either, It makes me feel like a polytheist. I do believe that Jesus existed, however when I pray (which is often) I pray to God. So am I losing my faith? I just don't want to belong to a church. I think they are all either greedy, false, or just plain wrong... I hate denominations.

It seems like it would be better to directly write it rather than inspire mere people to do it. It would make things clearer and even more inerrant.

hearing The story of Moses (pbuh) and the Pharaoh of the Exodus are very much identical in the Qur’an and the Bible. Both scriptures agree that the Pharaoh drowned when he tried to pursue Moses (pbuh) and led the Israelites across a stretch of water that they crossed. The Qur’an gives an additional piece of information in Surah Yunus chapter 10 verse 92:

"This day shall We save thee in thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! But verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"
[Al-Qur’an 10:92]

Dr. Maurice Bucaille, after a thorough research proved that although Rameses II was known to have persecuted the Israelites as per the Bible, he actually died while Moses (pbuh) was taking refuge in Median. Rameses II’s son Merneptah who succeeded him as Pharaoh drowned during the exodus. In 1898, the mummified body of Merneptah was found in the valley of Kings in Egypt.

Many people claim that the Bible is a great source of morality, but surely one of the most immoral acts one can commit is slavery. The Bible makes numerous references to slavery, one of the most abhorrent being Exodus 21:20-21, regarding beating slaves. Another passage, from the New Testament, is Ephesians 6:5-9, in which Paul instructs slaves to follow closely their masters' orders. It should have been blatantly obvious to the writers of the Bible, if they had a higher morality than those surrounding them, that it is utterly wrong to use your fellow man as farm equipment against his will. Why does the Bible favor slavery so, when it is so obvious to most people living today that slavery is wrong? Why didn't Jesus speak out about slavery?

To believers of any religion who claim they have a personal relationship with God I have a few questions to help me better understand this relationship.

Do you actually hear God? If so what has He (or She) said to you?

Have you seen visions of God outside of dreaming?

When things go wrong or bad in your life do you see it as a sign or a test from God, or just something went wrong?

Evolution tries to take what God has done and explain it with mundane methods of science. They shy away from questions like how did chance create the human eye, and record thoughts and bend light in order that we may have eyesight. All these things would take a God yet they have convinced MASSES of people...even CHRISTIANS that evolution is 100% possible.
These people will surely go to Hell and drag as many Christians with them as possible because in nothing is GODs wrath kindled then he who does not acknowledge the hand of God in his work.

Christians hold TRUE to the bible and TRUST it!

God's word:
2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
The word of God says
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Let Science catch up to us. We have the truth! Let's not be like a reed in the wind, swaying to and fro by all the points of science blowing around.

GOD BLESS!
