Yep, Jesus was a big fan of dancing around fires while intoxicated. ;)

Well, I suppose they actually are, as they are worshiping the imitator. It is a direct imitation of worship for Dionysus.

The Bacchanalian god? I'm sorry, I just don't see that one. I think you overreached a bit here.

"He had no form or majesty that we should be drawn to him" definitely does not describe Dionysus, the handsome one of the Pantheon. If anything he is the antithesis of Jesus.

The Bible warns against trusting a flatterer.
Dionysus was a smart guy, and his brain was gifted to him by Jesus. So those must have been Jesus' thoughts first.

Dionysus came before Jesus......

And really Mithras/Mithra/Mitre has more taken from him than Dionysus I think.

But before we get into a "who did jesus steal his ideas from more" contest......i'm tired and don't feel like looking up the stuff. lol

Christians

"Christ" is who we're supposed to immitate to the best of our ability and if it were Dionysus... we would then be Dionysystians.

LOL

Two completely different concepts (duh!), Worship and flattery. There is this big book you should learn to use (maybe you can get your mommy to help) it is called a dictionary. It tells you what words mean.
