I do have a personal relationship with God. That simply means you believe He is God and you have asked Him to save you therefore it's a personal thing. You "hear" God sometimes by that 'gut feeling' you get about a situation. Something inside you tells you not to go somewhere... I haven't seen visions of God or dreamt about him. And as far as when things go wrong or bad in my life, it's simply a storm and God will see me thru it. Sometimes we go through things so we can help others later that are going thru the same situation, sometimes it's to teach us a lesson. Sometimes it's becuase the devil is trying to trip us up. Sometimes we find out the reason for our trials and sometimes we don't. But we can rest assured in the fact that God is always here with us.

Don't actually see God
Hear God's word yes
No visions
Speaks to my conscience
from what I have been taught
and Bible doctrine resident in
my soul.
When things go wrong it could be many things.
I think it is testing alot of the time yes.
Because you keep getting the same type of tests
people keep having the same problems over and over
until they pass them ... ever notice.. I have in my own life.
Anyway I wake up and talk to God in prayer, my own thoughts and words and thank him for the day every night.
Ultimately all God wants from you after you are saved is to completely trust him with all problems in your life. The more you do it the closer you get to having a personal relationship.
I trust him more than I trust myself, my family or any man/woman walking this earth... he has blessed me richly for that.... not to say that I do it all the time, but when I do there is a huge difference.. than when I don't trust him and take it upon myself....

The term "personal relationship" means that we take accountability for ourselves in what we do, think, and say, and of our Faith and Belief, beyond what limits man puts upon us within a church or within the world itself.
In a personal relationship, we talk and beseach God by ourselves and not through another....we open up our hearts and lives so everything is seen, good and bad, and know we cannot hide from God by their ugly truths about ourselves, and, then we seek to change the uggliness within us so we may stand within God's light.
Yes....I believe I had "heard" God.....but it isn't anything I can explain.....unfortunately, I have a tendency to "analize" things to death.....is both a strength and a weakness, for God used the weakness of it and made it a strength within my Faith....
I tried to analize it so I could "explain" when I witnessed this happenning to my loved ones...but...could not do so then, nor can I now....God just "was"....
I am of the minority that seem to not remember if they have dreamt....except durring small naps durring the day, if I didn't know better, I would say I don't dream. (*edit- However, yes, I have often had "visions" while fully awake, without any influence to have me do so...except feeling the Holy Spirit settle upon me for the vision, and I was alerted to be "aware")
LOL....as I said, I analize, so, yes, I look at everything and try to figure out what I had or hadn't done or remember what the Lord had shown me previously as to whether it is what He spoke of or not.
God uses the foolishness of this world so often in our walks in a way of enlightenment that I look at everything as a learning experience.
Sometimes, I just need to be alone with God, without words, and just sit in His presence or have His arms around me for a while in comfort.
And He obliges me in doing so, just because He loves me... no matter what.

No one can have this relationship without doing HIS WAY..., and that is through His designated link between heaven and earth..., Jesus Christ.
Then everything is sort of filtered through Him because HE paid mine and your sin debt. BEcause of Him, we can then go 'boldly' to the throne of God.., in Jesus' name and by His spirit.
Yes, I have actually heard God, Yes, I have had several (for lack of better words) encounters with the man Jesus since I asked Him to BE my Lord and stating that I DO believe He is the Son of God.
I have had dreams that were instructive, but also visions that defy material/physical laws, but also a couple angel encounters.
When things go wrong?? I don't see it as a sign from God.., HE has no darkness in Him so He doesn't teach His children through negative experiences. God doesn't "test" His children by giving them problems,or accidents or diseases or sicknesses. We all live in a fallen world and there are some things that are "common to man", but there are also many things that our enemy, the devil try and do to us. We have all power and authority over the devil and his 'stuff', but we have to grow up spiritually and learn to use our spiritual tools effectively.
In the new testament, we are taught that we must ask for what we want and ask for the right purposes to receive from God. But we are expected to 'walk in the fullness' of the power of God eventually and exercise our spiritual authority and dominion over the enemy's stuff.
It is possible to live without sickness, diseases, accidents and disasters. If you or I can't exercise our faith for that, then we can join together with other believers who also have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and be healed, set free and restored to wholeness.
Many things may 'go wrong' in this world system we live in, but we are NEVER alone by promise and we have many spiritual safe-guards at our disposal.
This will mean nothing to you unless you HAVE that personal relationship, and this type of testimony is usually chalked off as fantasy or wild imagination.., but you will never know unless you ASK Jesus to make himself real to YOU and then accept Him AS your Lord. I can tell you that HIS Lordship in my life has been so much better and more successful and rewarding than anything I ever did without Him.., and I did lots of things that just didn't work for me physically, relationship wise, financially, or health mentally, emotionally or physically. It is a surrender where you don't lose anything (except death, hell and disaster; pain and disease) and you gain everything life could ever bring..., and hereafter! Just remember: GOOD God, BAD devil. God is trying to restore us all back to the original paradise God made for the first man!

A 'personal relationship' with God is like when a child has a personal relationship with an imaginary friend. People don't literally hear anything. It's just that they want to believe something *so* much that they convince themselves it really happened.

I think its the love you feel for others whether you know them or not. When you do a kind act for someone for no reason but it made you feel happy. When you look outside and think wow, its so colourful and beautiful, I'm happy to be alive.
