My son, 6 years old, just called me and asked me to come spend my lunch break with him. :) It tickles me to death. What has been the best for you today?

Laptop, hope you have a blast at the beach. I have another month and a half until we are on our way. :)

RedQueen, you are right. So many people have too much going on to enjoy the days when the kiddos are home. They grow up too fast. :)

To those who said "nothing" ahh . . .come on. . .you know you got some good stuff going on today. :) On bad days it is good to be grateful for just the smallest of things, it keeps ya in perspective. :) Hope your day gets better.

Bud's G, thanks. My children are my world. And, yes I too am thankful for another day the Lord has blessed me with.

Beverly, the love of a child is about the closest thing in this world to the love of God. :)

My three yr old son said he was "sooo glad your home Mommy" after I got home from the hospital. i was only gone for about an hour, but he acted as though I had been gone for a month. He gave me a huge hug and kiss. It made my day :)

My kids start summer vacation at 3:40 this afternoon. That means that I no longer have to wake up at 5:45 every morning. I have 96 days to sleep in!!

That is definately the best thing to happen in a while, although millions of mothers probably disagree with me.

So far... hmm I'm drawing breath. When you get a little older even that is something to be thankful for.

I didn't get stressed out by the lookie loos on the way to work today and wasn't involved in any of the four fenderbenders they were all slowing down to look at.

I work from home, and I get to spend every day with my 2 year old son. When I walked into his room this morning, he looked at me with bright eyes and a huge smile, and said "morning daddy!" to me. This became the beginning of a great day!

Now that is so cute.

To me my youngest left out of the house on his way to class and said I Love you. It's nice that at 19 he still feels like he can say that.

That is SO NICE! You're bringing up a wonderful boy, good job! The nicest thing to happen to me today is that God gave me another day to live and enjoy my life. Thanks for your story!
