hearing The story of Moses (pbuh) and the Pharaoh of the Exodus are very much identical in the Qur’an and the Bible. Both scriptures agree that the Pharaoh drowned when he tried to pursue Moses (pbuh) and led the Israelites across a stretch of water that they crossed. The Qur’an gives an additional piece of information in Surah Yunus chapter 10 verse 92:
"This day shall We save thee in thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! But verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"
[Al-Qur’an 10:92]
Dr. Maurice Bucaille, after a thorough research proved that although Rameses II was known to have persecuted the Israelites as per the Bible, he actually died while Moses (pbuh) was taking refuge in Median. Rameses II’s son Merneptah who succeeded him as Pharaoh drowned during the exodus. In 1898, the mummified body of Merneptah was found in the valley of Kings in Egypt.

In 1975, Dr. Maurice Bucaille with other doctors received permission to examine the Mummy of Merneptah, the findings of which proved that Merneptah probably died from drowning or a violent shock which immediately preceeded the moment of drowning. Thus the Qur’anic verse that we shall save his body as a sign, has been fulfilled by the Pharaohs’ body being kept at the Royal Mummies room in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo

This verse of the Qur’an compelled Dr. Maurice Bucaille, who was a Christian then, to study the Qur’an. He later wrote a book ‘The Bible, the Qur’an and Science’, and confessed that the author of the Qur’an can be no one else besides God Himself. Thus he embraced Islam.

We are all descendants of Abraham. Or at least the religions we worship are. Why can we not see the common ground we share. Instead of what separates us. The Muslims and Jews consider Jesus to be a prophet. At least showing more religious tolerance. Then there Christian counterparts. As far as the persecution of the Jews in Egypt. That has nothing to do with the Qur'an. The Egyptians were still worshiping pagan gods. Lets not confuse an individuals persecution of a people with the religion they claim to represent. Do not also judge a whole religion because you disagree with one of its prophets or messengers. For the same problem you have with Muhammad, the Muslim and the Jews have with us considering Jesus the son of God. Not to mention creating the New Testament. Adding to the bible. This all Muhammad really did to the Qur'an.
Which by the way they never claimed Muhammad was the son of god(just a messenger of God). Jesus teaches forgiveness, love, tolerance and not to judge others. I suggest you do the same. Peace!!!! Love!!!!

"there's a Catholic Bible,That has an Apocrypha...curiously God whispered that bit to the Catholics at the same time as the different christians were contained in the bathing room!!" The apocrypha become contained in the KJV till 1880's. Archbishop of canterbury bumped off it. There are different "books" that were considered Scripture till 4th and fifth centuries (by utilising both Jews and Christians) that finally were given bumped off for quite a number of causes and agendas. Many can nevertheless be chanced on and skim. One such become the e book of Enoch (even quoted by utilising Jude in his epistle). If someone extremely needs the actuality, then that individual will spend as a lot time and prayer as is major to locate it. Will all issues be presented to effortless totally? no longer till our Lord returns and contraptions up His kingdom. If it were basically fairy memories i don't believe that it often is the most attacked e book of all time or the astounding promoting of all time. besides, a lot of is also corroborated by utilising outdoors secular elements. in case you extremely prefer to draw close which version is the note of God... they are all translations and copies. It calls for various time and study; re-translating and putting all of it back into the contexts from which it got here. The

I have an asnwer for this, and despite the fact that it makes so much sense, I'm positive it won't be chosen.
How about if you just simply LIVE AND LET LIVE?
Who's to say which religion is right, or if any of them actually are? Until it can be proven BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, does it matter?
I don't think that if there truly is a God, that he cares which brand of religion you buy into, as long as you believe in SOMETHING.
So rather than pretend we are all theologists, when even theologists can't answer everything, why don't we just let it be, learn to coexist and focus on the tangible daily struggles that most of the 6.5 billion of our brothers and sisters face every day.
Don't you think God would favor that more than arguing about a few lines in a book???

No dear, I shouldn't. Muslims claim the bible is corrupted when they're not quoting the parts they like (answering-christianity is good for that), which begs the question which parts are corrupt? From what I can tell, Muslims believe the parts they don't like were all corrupted, the parts they're fine with are cool. A bit disengenous.
The quran by teaching Jesus wasn't God fails the biblical test of 1 John 4:1-3: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
So it is the book that is suspect. Please read about the Bible for yourself, it is God's true word:
