Why could you assume something else? this is an open communicate board, this is no longer restriced to non secular persons, or perhaps to Christians as some human beings seem to think of. Atheists are truthfully no longer dogmatic, insofar as they require any known premise to be challengeable. we don't "disrespect" the religion according to se, we conveniently assume that it merits an analogous (not extra and no much less) evidence than the different blandly reported although evidence-undesirable proposal. in case you're searching for strategies that help or are on the least sympathetic on your person preconceived recommendations, please use a faith communicate board. in case you elect for to apply this one, you are able to vote against the strategies you do unlike. If any of the strategies are, as you're saying, unoriginal sarcastic quips, please make specific that they contravene the instructions, and in the event that they do, checklist them for abuse.

Why do you make sweeping generalizations? Everyone is sarcastic or defensive at some time...even Christians! Lighten up and enjoy life!

Apparently your perceptions of answers are all "sarcastic or defensive". A calmer mind would make you feel much better about things. You can't read people's minds about their intent, when posting, unless you're a Buddha of course... so you might enjoy actually just letting it go.

Guess you're talking to the wrong atheists. At least here on R&A, the atheists seem far less likely to go "off nominal" than others.

Feel free to note my answers and how unsarcastic most of them have been today alone.
You know that you are generalizing and that not all individuals with a certain label share ANY traits other than the one specific to that label.

Well it is hard to be sarcastic when you have a strong belief that religion is hogwash and atheist are defensive because they see religion trying to corrupt science and involve its self in government.

Maybe you're just being over-sensitive because deep down you know we're right but can't bring yourself to admit it.
[edited, checked and proof-read for signs of defensiveness and sarcasm]

I have known atheists and asked them questions, and I have received very polite and serious answers. I suppose I was respectful when I asked the questions and I didn't ridicule their beliefs and answers. I suppose I also didn't ask them the same questions they have heard a hundred times beforehand.
