Well according to Levitcius, bacon is unclean, you wouldn't consider that food would you, well not if you like Leviticus. So bacon, shrimp, soyburgers, all that stuff is food that isn't food.

Those things listed in Leviticus as clean are the only thing that is considered food by the Jewish people. Guess what. The people who wrote the new testament were either Jewish or converts to a sect of Judaism and to them...Only the things in Leviticus 11 is food.

Your misapplying a scripture in which Yahshua was telling his disciples that they didn't have to wash their hands in the tradition of the elders be fore they eat BREAD because the dirt will come out in the waste.

Either that or you misapplying the old sheet with crawly things on it which the text interprets itself and says that Peter was not to call any man unclean or common.

Or misapplying the verses that says all meat is sanctified and should be taken with thanksgiving or some such. However the meat that is sanctified, another word for holy, is listed in Leviticus 11.

Context context context, whole bible, culture, and the entirety of the section your reading from.

Pig and shellfish still is not and never will be considered food.

Food that isn't food is not food. It is not a sin to eat food. Christ said it is not what goes into a man that defiles him but that which comes out of him. We have cleanliness laws as a shadow of the coming of Christ and he has come and has atoned for sin. God is a eternal spirit we do not worship him in rituals but in spirit and truth.

Edit Bacon is food, It is not unclean all things are made clean.
the law was fufilled...Christians do not sacrifice animals we are made clean by the atonement. We had the laws which were shadows of the coming of the lord. We live our lives according to this reality not following traditions but by faith being changed and made new. We now worship God in spirit and in truth.
I do definitely read the Bible. Here is the verse for you.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Mark 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

What is this "New Bible" you speak of? Nothing in Google. Perhaps the New American Standard?

If food isn't food then unclean food can't be food or clean food, either. But if food is food then unclean food is still food but food that is not clean food. (????)

"...don't you people actually read your bibles?" You need to read the bible to find out what you are trying to criticize! And besides this question can't possibly be serious; "food that isn't food"????

By unclean do you mean spoiled or dirty food?
Anything that will likely make you sick should not be eaten.
Those foods deemed "unclean" by Mosaic law are made clean to eat by the blessing of God through Jesus Christ when we pray for our meals.
"What God has cleansed, call not thou common." Acts 10:15. The passage also speaks directly to the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Gentiles.
Still, food that has been sacrificed to Idols is forbidden to eat.

It's still clean.

As long as the 5-second rule was properly adhered to.
