My experiment: I got 200 grass-hoppers, placed one at a time on a table, said "Jump" and then let it go. In 95% (+/- 2%), the insects jumped. I then repeated the experiment, but this time, I broke off the large pair of hind legs just before I said "Jump". In 100%, they did not jump.

This experiment was repeated numerous times by myself and other scientists all over the world. The results were essentially the same.

I therefore concluded that grass-hoppers hear through their hind legs. That's my hypothesis. Actually, it's a theory. It's thoroughly testable, scientifically falsifiable, and it makes accurate predictions. Do you agree with my theory?

(In case you're wondering what this question is doing in this section, I am wondering how many people make the scientific method their god).

I work 10 hours everyday.
I listen to my boss piss and moan over non-sense.
When I go to a restaurant, the last thing I want to hear is a bunch of christians disrupting my meal with their garbage prayers!
I deserve peace and quiet while I dine.
Last time I went to red lobster, a bunch of crazy christians were dining at this table.
There was about ten of them.
Each one of them took turns praying over their food.
Do you know how irriating it is to hear 10 people praying?
I complained and was told they have a right to pray.
What about my right to peace and quiet?

What's destined to happen will happen but the prayers would be only able to cushion off the effects to a certain extend only - comments/opinions sought.

Since God is the alpha and omega, beginning and end, everything and nothing, blah blah, Why would he need the burnt carcuss of a dead animal from earth. Has he no cooking skills? Is he going to eat it? If not, why would he let it go to waste?
I think that Jehovah was an alien and he found earthlings to be very gullable and easily manipulated. He thought he would stay awhile and get a good laugh. While he was laughing he got hungry and decided he would have the stupid little earthlings make his dinner for him. Hence the cooked food.

I am 15 years old and I have been a christain since I was 7 years old. Well now My christainity is failing..and I really don't want it to. I feel like i can't be a normal teenager though if I am a christian because so many people use bad languge and act stupid. I just don't know what to do. I want to cuss sometimes and God kinda scares me now..for some reason thinking of Him returning scares me and I feel alone and also the thought of dying scares me. I just can't get into worship and I feel kinda like my christian life is a HUGE mess. I need help. I pray...I try to read my Bible but when I do I either get bored or find nothing to help me. Sometimes I sadly even doubt God. I DON'T WANT TO! I want to be on fire and not scared and a great christain. I see the guy I like and he is GREAT in worship he bows, prays, crys, and I sing in my chior and i thnk to myself while I sing y can't I get into it? Fell like that? Want to worship! What is wrong with me? How can fix it? *cries* plese answer!

Some Muslims have posted questions here stating/implying that the Bible has over 50 000 errors. Since the Bible has a total of 31,102 verses, that would mean an average of 1.6 errors per verse. How viable/realistic is this?

Before he is wrongly executed, Dionysus says to the political ruler who interrogates him, "You know not what you are doing."

Jesus on the cross says, "Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing".

The followers of Dionysus are miraculously freed from prison when their chains fall off and the cell doors swing open.

The same thing happens in Acts to followers of Jesus.

Jesus is the offspring of a God and a mortal woman, and the suggestion of most would accuse her of impropriety is there in the story, although subtle.

Dionysus is the offspring of Zeus and a mortal woman, and she is accused of impropriety when she tells of her condition.

There is an attempt on the life of the child in both stories.

The persecutor of the followers of Dionysus confronted by Dionysus, "You disregard my words of warning... and kick against the goads".

Jesus says to Saul, the persecutor of the Christians, ""Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you, this kicking against the goads?
