or is it impossible to repent for those who are willfully sinning? was the blasphemy against the spirit not forgiven because its persistantly the opposite attitude of that, or can someone do something that they can never be forgiven for, even if they do humble themselves, confess it, and turn from their sins? Do some know they are guilty but cannot repent? Or are these verses talking about someone who is unwilling too, or stuck in their ways? are all sins forgiven when someone seeks forgiveness, or are these willful sins beyound forgiveness even then?

Many people in a recent thread are saying they would never believe science over the bible. I would like to provide a few examples and ask you a simple question.


Example:

The Bible:
Bats are birds of the air.

Science:
Bats are flying mammals. (rodents)

The Bible:
Rabbits chew their cud

Science:
Rabbits do not chew their cud.

I mean,they don't believe in an afterlife so what's to mourn. I suppose they spend the whole afternoon on their front-porch rockers going "Well,what's done is done gosh dang it" while the rest of us are having fun at the parade picking up all that expensive candy they throw off the floats...

I know some people gonna say "if there is not life in other planet, that is a waste or space."

What if those planets and their position just were made to create the perfect ambient for earth to be habitable?

For example, you may know that the bad positioning of a planet maybe affect temperatures on earth.

Jesus spoke of it being only a wicked and adulterous generation that would seek after a sign (as the Pharisees asked Him to perform). Biblically I've learned that if there is any uncertainty about a matter in my mind, God will confirm His Word to let me know whether He Wills me to do it. If I receive no confirmation then I know it was not 'of God'. Would you agree that DOESNT fall under waiting for a "sign"...if only because the Pharisees asked in unbelief of Christ...and I ask believing?

I beileive that schools should teach facts both in support of and against evolution and let the children choose their positions and debate on it not the parents. You have to remember school is supposed to help bring a future to the children not the parents. So let the children choose the future they want to pursue. Most likly the children will be supportive of their parents perspective anyways so if your religious you won't need to worry about losing your child from your families treasured values.

I used to watch the news at least twice a day. I had to know what was going on in the world & never went a day without watching world and local news.

Now I havent watched the news for over a year. I cant stand to see it, hear it or read about it because its as if the world has gone mad. Its one murder after another, bombings, abductions, disasters... I feel helpless. I prefer to meditate, sending out love & peace.

How do you watch it & go about your day?
