So what, just because I don't believe in an afterlife I'm not supposed to mourn and grieve the loss of human life?
Memorial day is NOT about having parades and expensive candy! It's about honoring our fallen heroes.

I spend Memorial Day having a BBQ with my family and remembering family members who died fighting for my rights and freedoms..
Just because I do not believe there is an afterlife doesn't mean I am not appreciative for the hard work and fighting done so I can live my life with my freedoms and rights..
You suppose entirely wrong maybe it would be best to ask Atheists what they do and believe rather than assuming you have a clue..
Have a nice day
Please troll again... you need the practice to improve your technique...

Considering that atheists don't believe in an afterlife, all the more reason to mourn our dead. We know they aren't frolicking in the clouds with Jesus or anyone else, nor are we ever going to see our loved ones again.
It's easier to enjoy the fantasy of an afterlife.

Why might desire to an atheist prefer to attack a pass? what's the ingredient? this is purely 2 sticks. i ask your self with regards to the validity of those thoughts. If such communities do exist, it feels like a job for the police to around those doing it and penal complex them. i don't think of the paintings of a pair of faculty nutjobs might desire to be allowed to replicate on all and sundry else. in line with possibility you individuals purely take this entire protecting the form element way too heavily now and back.

it's called mourning the loss of another human being. just because we don't believe in an after life doesn't mean we don't believe in the sanctity of or the value of human life. as both an atheist and a war veteran i am both offended and appalled by your question. i have lost friends in combat and i mourn the loss of those lives and their friendship. you are the worst kind of christian, a self righteous and self absorbed christian. you should count yourself lucky that there really isn't a hell for you to go to.

What does atheism have to do with mourning? Are you really this dumb? You think atheists don't have families, and members of those families don't go to war and die? What's to mourn?
Wow. This is about the dumbest thing I've seen in ages. If this was your attempt at a joke, it was a poor one.

Nice straw man. Wait. No it's not. It's not remotely clever.
I get off my asse at 5 am and spend an hour putting 82 flags on the south side of the main street in my town, rain or shine. Like I do on the other 9 holidays.
What do YOU do?

I would never say 'gosh dang it'. If I'm going to swear, I SWEAR.
You seem obsessed with atheists and what they do. Is your own life really that boring?
P.S.-all that 'expensive' candy will rot your teeth. It's already gone to your brain. You have a nice weekend too.

Atheist have more reason to remember the fallen, since they believe that this life is the only one you get, and that those who died in the service of their country had that life cut tragically short.
Your question, under the circumstances, is completely pig-ignorant.
