that's funny you haven't read your leader's words, turn the other cheek, don't hate your neighbor, let him without sin cast the first stone, i think you stopped believing in magic when they told you Santa wasn't real but jesus was, don't swallow anything hook, line, & sinker

I am a republican... same as you there
I am a Christian..... same as you there
I think George W.Bush is a great president.... Not so much, people must realize that President Bush is not the one running the show, his cabinet, and primarily his vice president are. Bush is often used as a scapegoat he often fulfills this role as he absorbs heavy criticism
I'm 100 % behind him on the Iraq war... not quite 100 %, but I believe we should not allow ruthless dictators to stay in power, Saddam was the Hitler of the Middle East, as the former President Bush once said. I agree going to war, about the WM D's there may not have been concrete evidence, but there is evidence that Saddam was working on nuclear weapons, advanced biological, and germ warfare operations, etc. The main part that I disagree with is the United States' attitude of stay for a while, then leave. Either A. We should stay forever, the U.S. needs oil Imperialism can be good if proper freedoms are given (Look at the Dutch colonies)
Or B. We fix the problem, then leave, do not waste time on something that will come apart in a few years (the Iraqi government it will not last in my opinion).
i think Jerry Falwell is in heaven... I do not know the answer to this question, if I made an assumption I would be as ignorant as he was (making claims that he knew everyone's destination in the afterlife).
Of those views, by far the most out there is the idea of the United States becoming imperialistic, but the people of the Phillapines and even Puerto Rico (they voted so) would say the United States is a good colonial ruler.
I do not know if you are joking trying to make controversy, but if you are not, what exactly was the point of stating your political and religious views?

If you really are 70, can I ask some things?
Did you go through your whole life not paying attention to anything except abortion, and "Christian issues"? Things like US foreign policy? You lived through at least 3 major wars - did you learn nothing from Vietnam? Can't you see Iraq is becoming the same thing? Why are you behind war? Who says things like that?
If Falwell is in heaven, which I seriously doubt, since I don't think even Jesus would have liked him and his agenda of hate and intolerance, then all the more reason for me not to want to be there.

I think George W. Bush is a great president. I'm 100 % behind him on the Iraq war. I am a neo-pagan. I don't know where Jerry Falwell is. I'm a republican but I agree with many libertarian views. What do you think of me now?
To answer your question, I don't know enough about you to make any judgments. However, it's nice to meet others with some of the same political views that I have.

Okay, that's your opinion and you have the right to it. But how do you feel about all the other things that have gone on in his administration? What has he accomplished to make the lives of ordinary Americans better? He has put people in positions of authority who have nothing to offer except their loyalty to him and the party....but mostly to him. Hurricane Katrina was a SNAFU; after over 4 years of war with no end in sight, that is becoming a SNAFU; Alberto Gonzales and politicizing the Justice Department is SNAFU; I cannot believe you have lived 70 years and are so simplistic in your thinking.

What does my opinion matter, just know I'm the total opposite - I think dubya doesn't have two brain cells to rub together and the power behind the throne is Cheney & Rove (both of who are only slightly more intelligent - they have 3 brain cells), I do not believe that heaven exists and even if it did and let in a bigot like Falwell I'd rather not be there and I'm an independent but lately have been thinking of changing my party affiliation to democrat.
You can keep your opinions and I'll keep mine as each of us has the right to our own.

I hope Jerry Falwell is heaven. I am in the US Air Force and I go to Iraq and Afghanistan when I am told to and I do not complain about it. I am a Christian too.

I think I don't know Jerry Falwell. But other than that I agree with you. I like you very much :-)
(Your opinions at least).
In response to Bog Nog: "Haven't read a newspaper." Haven't read a NEWSPAPER! Ever wonder why you don't know a thing about what's going on?! The newspapers are the most biased and liberal things in existence- maybe more than you... Newspapers are always printing lies. Which is exactly why you and so many others are liberals- you believe the newspapers, which are filled with slanderous lies.
In response to Taliesin: If we did not halt this “supposed” violence then more attacks would have come and more innocents would have died. And, you’re right; we did fight back due to 9/11. But it was only because it was due to 9/11 that our eyes were opened to the threat.

I think George W.Bush is the worst president in american history, I don't support the war but I admire the the courage of the men and women who are serving our country in the armed forces, and I am a spiritual person who doesn't subscribe to one particular religion. I also support a women's right to choose and the rights of gays and lesbians.
Obviously we have the exact opposite points of view, but it isn't my place to judge your character based on your political and personal views.

Hypocrite, and I'll prove it:
"I'm 100 % behind him on the Iraq war. I am a Christian"
What type of Christian, may I ask, condone violence for the sake of supposedly halting other violence. Or was it done for the sake of revenge over 9/11, in which case, is that a Christian virtue?
