I'm not sure what you mean. It was a tragedy and that's how I remember it. I believe that the Jews were persecuted because Satin hates them. He hates them because they preserved the oracles of God and with out them there would be no Christians today. They also gave us our savior (Jesus was a Jew) and they are also God's chosen people. Approximately 8 million Jews were exterminated during the Holocaust. But what many people don't know is that at the end of world war II when they added up all the dead Natzi soldiers guess how many Natzis were exterminated? Approximately 8 million....God took one Nazi life for each Jew life that was taken by Satin.

Sadly, not much. We do not have a sense of history. That is why we keep making the same mistakes over and over.

We still think some else is always to blame for our problems. If we can just look down our nose at someone, we will be taller. If someone does not agree with us, they must be locked up, punished. Some try to deny our past so it never happened.

There are people who attempt to get us to see what happened so it can never happen again. I wish them well. I do not think it will work.

It is remembered as a time of great suffering for the Jews and Catholics living under the Nazi regime. The historical facts are recorded in books and other media so it will never be forgotten.

It is a reminder that mankind can accomplish great good....and great evil.

Through stories. My grandmother's 2 brothers and her father were taken to a concentration camp and she was left alone with her mother. There are many stories, but the oral ones that you hear happened in your family have a much stronger feeling and are somehow more intense
