Jesus said, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains," and "some things can only be done through prayer and fasting."
So the answer to your question is no, the power of prayer is not limited - unless moving mountains is a limitation!

I do not believe there is a limit to prayers. I will pray every day, 5 times a day for the rest of my life because of how important I feel praying is and how beneficial I believe it is.

I believe that prayer will only work when the person allows it to work on them. Like when a group of people pray for someone who has NOT asked for prayers then they are wasted. That energy that is sent isn't accepted therefore a waste.
It's one reason why in my belief it is very important to have a person permission before doing any kind of prayer or energy work.

Jesus said:
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be given you. - John 15:7
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. -Mathew 21:22
Everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. -Mathew 7:8
Psalm 17: 6
I call upon you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
Psalm 30:2
O LORD my God, I called upon you for help and you healed me.
James 5:15-16
The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteouss man is more powerful and effective.
The only limits to prayer seem to be made by man and his lack of faith.

"Nothing lies outside the power of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God".
I believe it was Jack Taylor who said that.

I have found that it works best to do what God asks of me...pray without ceasing, entrust all my cares to Him, bring my needs before Him in prayer...and leave the outcome entirely up to Him.

Limited to zilch.
In many tests, prayer has been shown to be ineffective. It is a complete waste of time. It is a way for people to think they are acomplishing something, without actually having to do anything.
One man with a hammer can do more good than a billion people praying.

Of course they are. Why is it that people pray to be healed of cancer or whatever and they never are? So many problems still exist.
