well, instead of talking ignorantly of PROPHET MUHAMMAD, PROPHET MESSIAH JESUS, and the religion brought by both of them is like losing the true love of GOD which is equal, immense and same for all of humanity.
Jesus was a PROPHET, the religion brought by HIM was ISLAM, not only that but every divine revelation that came through PROPHETS was the ISLAM of their times, here i am not talking abt the cult manmade religions which have no any link with the divinity of GOD rather are made by the old, conservative, and ignorant human minds like hindu-ism, or budhist etc, these man made religions are full of superstitions cause are man made by the men of ancient times with no knowledge of truth. but the DIVINE religions brought by the PROPHETS of ISRAEL(we know most of the well known great PROPHETS OF TIMES were sent to ISRAEL).
well coming back in short that after a long chain of PROPHETS towards ISRAEL, there came a lot of gap, and then finally the last PROPHET of GOD was sent to the ARABS, but in the essence HE (MUHAMMAD) was sent to all mankind as Qur'an states, " And we sent Muhammad as Mercy to all mankind". so the final divine revelation of GOD through MUHAMMAD was the final revelation for all mankind till the end of times, not for only one nations and one time period as was the case with the prophets of israel who were only sent to them, so in short every prophet brought nothing but ISLAM, but the most complete and conprehensive was the message brought by prophet Muhammad, and was meant for all mankind, here look at this plz;

But what we are now talking here abt as the issue is that then why the two differs ????????, well u people may very well know yourself that u have altered your religion, and the holy books, they are not now pure word of GOD, so here the whole difference comes otherwise the message was unique, single and this is the beauty of the message of GOD that asks all of humankind to be united, one, unique and be brother.

There are no similarities between Christianity and Islam. Mohamed had his revelations centuries after Christ, He also created a lot of instructions in the Koran that are direct contradictions of the Gospels, much akin to the differences in Judaism and Christianity.
